I recently moved to Hawaii to pursue a doctorate in pharmacy. I'm not sure i would call my myself a nerd but people tell me i am once they know me. However i was once very drunk at a party, talking to a former marine who told me, "you're not a nerd, you're just into what you love" and i agree. I'm fairly athletic and enjoy biking, board/card games, hiking, boxing, weightlifting, disc golf etc. I played a ton of video games growing up and still play to this day (not as frequently). Currently in the Dota2 beta and having lots of fun. I love learning and experiencing new things. I really enjoy learning cool things about history and science, I spend a fair amount of time on Wikipedia browsing through intresting historical peroids, animals, and science inventions. I own series like planet earth, Steven Hawking's universe, and cosmos. I sometimes get a bout of wanderlust and must go on an adventure to sate it. I grew up in a smallish town in washington and lived in seattle for 4 years getting a bachelors degree in physiology.

I also have a very weird sense of humor that i got from my dad. My humor is pretty dark and sometimes sarcastic but it hopefully is found to be funny. I love cracking jokes with people i know but my humor is generally reserved if i don't know a person well.

To a large extent i think life is meant to be an adventure where you never stop learning. The memorable experiences in my life are all stories that can and are told to friends and family (if i am drunk i will loudly tell stories). A good storyteller is an awesome thing. If you are good at conveying a feeling or experience to someone else it is both entertaining and enlightening.

Currently going to the UH to get a doctorate of pharmacy. I bought a surfboard but haven't the slightest clue how to surf.

speeding on a motorcycle and not getting caught, things that involve hand eye coordination, hotboxing vehicles, handling stressful situations, concerts, super smash bros melee, wasting time, settlers of catan (and most board games like risk), taking epic 3 hour naps, finding obscure and awesome movies, almost all FPS games, racket ball, procrastinating schoolwork and getting very loud and excited when discussing something i love (or if i've been drinking)

I can only assume my dashing good lucks and charismatic personality.

I really love sci-fi books i've read most of the well known ones like dune, Ender's game, brave new world etc. My favorite sci-fi author is probably Asimov i really like his style. I don't only read sci-fi books but it is my favorite genre (i get a huge mental boner over space). Read my fair share of fantasy as well LOTR ASOIF etc. My favorite book is probably catch-22

I like a lot of movies but i don't think i have a favorite one... Young Frankenstein, Gran Torino, ong bak, hot fuzz, usual suspects, o brother where art thou (Coen brothers essentially), and shawshank redemption are all movies i own and love ( i love many more but listing them would be tedious). I haven't seen many older movies though (Casablanca for example) and would love to watch them sometime.

Shows: old simpsons, red dwarf, futurama, always sunny in philidelphia, south park, venture brothers, American dad, Archer, Breaking Bad, colbert report, the wire, and adventure time.

I love a lot of music but i also hate a lot of music (country). I'm very fond of classic and progressive rock from 60's to present. Bands like yes, iron maiden, supertramp, glitch mob, crystal method, foreigner, wolfmother, tool, primus, pink floyd, blue oyster cult, russian circles, pelican, Isis, flotobots etc. My favorite band is porcupine tree but i've never met someone who knew them. I want to get into more techno but i'm often not in the moods to sample unknown bands.

Italian food is best food but chipotle is probably the best restaraunt on this planet..

Hanging out with friends whether its at home or at some sort of drinking establishment. Probably not in the least bit sober since i will be blowing off steam from the week.
