My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey, all, I'm seeing someone really rad right now. I'm leaving this account up as I've met some great friends this way.

I love being outside. I am a grounded person with a tendency to drag those around me deep into the ground too. My flighty, light friends say I help them stay connected while my grounded compatriots and I head down infinite rabbit holes together for fun. I like to read, walk, cycle and talk to people.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work a fair bit. I'd like to try to connect my work better to my loves and interests. I have a long term plan for making this real. Beyond that, I'm just hanging out trying to get a hang of everything.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
cooking, listening, mediating situations, punning, adapting
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know - I think this question says more about the other person than it does about me.

These are arbitrary and meaningless since how could I possibly choose? Yet, here I go:

Books: East of Eden, The Happy Prince, My Antonia, Spice-Box of Earth, anything by Ursula K LeGuin, I love Modernism and generally read fiction
Movie: The Hudsucker Proxy, A Knight's Tale, Y Tu Mama Tabien, Zoolander, Rent, Harold and Maude
Music: The Mountain Goats, John Darnielle, Bjork, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Leonard Cohen, Pulp, Wilco, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Geoff Berner, Kid Koala, Radiohead, REM, Tanya Tagaq, The Mountain Goats, John Darnielle (deliberate repeat for effect). there are so so many others but it doesn't matter. I also love a lot of older R&B an blues.
Food: Lemon, garlic, spicy salty and sour. I should disclose that I really love meat (though you don't have to). I was a vegetarian for 11 years and now I run a Beef Eating Society and I enjoy finding ethically raised meat from local sources.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Compassion, patience, wit, love, time and fresh air. Also maybe my dogs.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I want to be a better human. I want to engage with the world in ways that I don't know about yet. I want to never stop figuring out and understanding the human condition. I want to never be "done" growing. I spend a lot of time thinking about strategies around that and teaching myself to be open to people and experiences despite my inclination to stay inside my comfort zone.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It depends. I like staying in, I like going out. I'm probably either having a meal with friends or hanging out at home with my animals and reading a book or listening to a record or doing laundry or all of those things at once.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm ftm, look it up if you don't know what it means. It's probably important.

I'm INTJ....which...well. You know.

You think the best thing about this universe is the wacky, inexplicable human shit we all get up to as a species. It's also the worst....but lighten up :)

In the interests of being totally honest, I am not very interested in getting involved with a poly situation. Happy to make new friends, but it's just not really my bag romantically.
