I am thoughtful, careful, and fuzzy.
My Self-Summary
I'm always looking for new people to meet and get to know, but I'm
enough of an
introvert that I'm not very good at
meeting people. I'm not especially concerned with the percentage of
the match, its more interesting to talk to people who have ideas
different from mine.
I'm a cat person though I don't have one at the moment. Actually,
I've been accused of being a cat and have mastered at least a few
phrases of cat vocabulary -- though only the ear based ones, I
haven't figured out the tail.
Cats seem to like me.
I feed myself by being a computer geek. I'm not entirely sure why
they pay me for it, but hey, I'm not complaining.
Hobbies include
sca,
music and composing
(I play the
harp),
woodcarving,
and
reading. I go
fencing at least
once a week. I play
kol and usually hang out in normal. This
list is subject to change without notice. If you do happen to
notice, would you let me know? I don't always realize it
either.
I have some weird food issues that I'm still sorting out; so I do a
lot of
cooking
from scratch. My current suspects are sulfites and/or Tyramine.
Since I do cook so much I'm reasonably decent at it and I've been
told that my noodles and cheese is fantastic. I'm also starting to
figure out pita bread.
I'm me. All the rest is details.
(OkCupid says I should answer in a language I know. I still think
it would be more fun to answer in a language I don't know.)
What I’m doing with my life
Plans for life include enjoying myself, finding wonderful new
people to be around, enjoying the people I already know, and doing
something worthwhile. Just what constitutes worthwhile changes from
time to time, especially when I'm easily distracted by...ooh,
books!
I’m really good at
Seeing patterns in things and in situations. Cooking. Learning new
things relatively quickly, at least when they interest me.
Listening. Procrastinating. Being easily distracte...ooh, books!
The first things people usually notice about me
Not a clue, you'll have to tell me. That I'm fuzzy maybe?

James Joyce, or
M John Harrison.
Jane Austen, Douglas
Adams,
Dostoyevsky,

The six things I could never do without
I still have not been able to come up with 6 things that I couldn't
do without. This question and I just do not get along.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'm usually thinking about something, but the subject can vary from
the esoteric to the trivial. Music, sociology, lunch, fencing,
crafting, missing socks, social structures, computers, sex,
linguistics, have I watered the plants today, complex
abstrac...oooh, books!
On a typical Friday night I am
Sitting in front of the computer? Many other nights I'm not, just
that Fridays end up a bit strange.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I really, really, really want a lute.
You should message me if
You're interested in talking to me. I promise not to bite unless
you ask. Seems simple enough.
Note number 2: Ignore the note that used to be here -- the IM does
work for me after all.
