My Self-Summary

Though I dislike the term "artist", I guess that's what I am after all.. I'm not an extremely social person most of the time, though I do like intelligent conversation and also just joking around and having fun.. but not 24/7. I prefer to gain something from the conversation - meaningless talk, neverending arguing and silly compliments usually just make me angry.
But I do love meeting creative, funny and a bit crazy people with different views and ideas that make me laugh. And I do love to laugh! Different is good as long as my own beliefs are respected.
Sounds rather boring and sharp, huh? ;) Don't worry. I'm also way too nice and have a sometimes weird sense of humor...

What I’m doing with my life

I'm self-employed, I do design and illustrations, I also do a bit of teaching - ceramics and sculpturing mostly.

I’m really good at

Creating things. I love to do things my way even though the final solution may seem (and sometimes is) useless, silly or just weird. Call it art ;) Mostly I do ceramics, sculpturing, drawing, writing and anything else that involves creativity and self-expression.

The first things people usually notice about me

If they catch me in a good mood I guess my laughter. If not - well, then they probably won't notice me at all.. I don't like to be in the center, observing is way better ;)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Fantasy, sci/fi and fairytales of the world; Astrid Lindgren (Ronia the Robber's Daughter, The Lionheart Brothers), Michael Ende (Momo, Neverending Story), Roald Dahl (anything!!), Tolkien and the like.
Music: it depends on the mood but I prefer something with a good rhythm, melody and lyrics worth hearing.. Mostly folk, folk-rock, folk-metal these days..
Movies: Startrek series, The chronicles of Riddick, The Piano, Pursuit of Honor, Princess Mononoke, Black Cat White Cat, Monty Python stuff...
I'm a vegetarian but I never try to convert others ;)

The six things I could never do without

My pets (dogs, cats, horses - couldn't live without them!!), nature, computer (sadly), creativity in general, music and TEA. Not necessarily in that order ;)
