My self-summary
An individual in the style of Homo Sapiens Sapiens which as a whole, according to Wikipedia, have a conservation status of "least concern" while I believe that I, as an individual, carry, at most, an endangered status.

this profile is long mostly because I add things and don't remove them.

I am odd. I go well with most anything. I smile too much and spend too much time lost in thought. I also like to spell certain words using the UK spelling, ie: "favourite, colour, flavour, theatre"...so it's intentional, all of it.

I spend a lot of my time reading (I promise I won't make you read my writing) and listening to music.

I'm interested in: ideas, the mind, philosophy, music, literature, psychology, consciousness.
I enjoy: reading, writing, singing, laughing, sleeping, breathing, eating, talking, showering, being sarcastic/facetious, making stupid puns, coming up with cute, irrelevant phrases, making seriously inappropriate and irreverent jokes and lists of things (including but not limited to lists).
Shit. just. got. recursive.

I have a thing for eyes. I'm ticklish. I have freckles. I like to laugh. I'm pretty weird, so that's something.

I like grammar. I hate CAPSLOCK. I derive much amusement from intentionally misusing grammar and the meaning of words to construct absurd sentences. I also jaywalk. But it's actually really okay to start sentences with conjunctions.
What I’m doing with my life
What am I doing with my life? Constantly wondering that myself. I'm sort of in-between nothing and everything. I'm taking time off from school and work. What a luxury, I know. I was sort of aiming for either psychology or computer science, but now I'm very seriously considering going pre-med and then into psychiatry maybe. who knows. I want to be a writer and hopefully whatever I end up doing for money (read: not whoring myself out) will pay for that. Also, I do a lot of work in the tech field mostly because I'm just good at it and it pays.
I’m really good at
reading/writing,
Asking unnecessary questions,
wasting time,
sleeping,
laughing,
smiling,
navigation (I have an uncanny sense of direction)
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm really not too sure. my eyes and freckles. My favourite word synonymous with freckled is "naevose" (...just throwing that out there). I have an odd personality - somewhat silly and lame, ranging from a chronic facetious affect (narrowly avoided having to use 'facetiousness' which feels awkward) to a somewhat balanced optimism.

I'm shy. (upon first meeting someone, but very exuberant upon eventual familiarity)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favourite Books: The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, Infinite Jest, The Brothers Karamazov, House of Leaves, Ada or Ardor: A Family Chronicle, Norwegian Wood, The Myth of Sisyphus (essays), The Denial of Death, The Only Dance There Is, The Raw Shark Texts, Cloud Atlas

First off, I'd like to say, "I LOVE HORROR MOVIES."

Favorite Music:
Radiohead
Wilco
The Mountain Goats
And more.

Favourite Food: anything spicy. bonus points for anything both spicy and sweet (for example, those Prometheus Springs Lychee/Wasabi drinks)

...Oh, television, I forgot: LOST, Arrested Development, Battlestar Galactica, South Park, DOCTOR WHO DOCTOR WHO DOCTOR WHO DOCTOR WHO, Six Feet Under, Game of Thrones, GIRLS, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad
The six things I could never do without
A good book,
A functional pen and a
journal,
Music,
insatiable curiosity,
illusion.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The nature of existence, where I'm going and why, love and it's import, my future, paradox, ideas for novels or poems. Philosophy, Literature, Crazy Things.

I might have been born in the wrong century or decade.

I LOVE dinosaurs.
On a typical Friday night I am
Reading a good book in bed, writing something on my computer, out with friends or sleeping. All of these things happen regularly.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
ohai there

I don't like that scene/swag or #hashtag crap. Please take and go peddle your #YOLO somewhere else. kthxbye

I don't like clubs or.clubbing, even though I've never been to a club.

I'm not into raves even though I've never been to a rave.

I'm very opinionated about things I probably shouldn't have an opinion about. I should probably work on that.

very open-minded though.

We seem to click, if our personalities mesh with ease, if you think a lot, if you've found the meaning in life (because I want to know), etc... If you like to travel or even just spontaneously go places. If the prospect of driving somewhere on a whim doesn't bother you. Adventures are necessary and mandatory.

if you find the following quote by David Foster Wallace astonishingly accurate, in which case we need to get together and do something about it yesterday:

"We enter a spiritual puberty where we snap to the fact that the great transcendent horror is loneliness, excluded encagement in the self. Once we’ve hit this age, we will now give or take anything, wear any mask, to fit, be part-of, not be Alone, we young. The U.S. arts are our guide to inclusion. A how-to. We are shown how to fashion masks of ennui and jaded irony at a young age where the face is fictile enough to assume the shape of whatever it wears. And then it’s stuck there, the weary cynicism that saves us from gooey sentiment and unsophisticated naïveté. Sentiment equals naïveté on this continent.

You burn with hunger for food that does not exist.

A U. S. of modern A. where the State is not a team or a code, but a sort of sloppy intersection of desires and fears, where the only public consensus a boy must surrender to is the acknowledged primacy of straight-line pursuing this flat and short-sighted idea of personal happiness.”
