My self-summary
SHAMAN SEEKS GODDESS...

I am a shaman/healer who does mostly remote healing with clients all over the world. (OK... got the weird stuff out there up front, LOL)

I also have an internet radio program interviewing fascinating healers and thought leaders who do the unexpected and/or impossible. Have a few books ready to be written.

I had a bionic hardware upgrade a while ago (hip replacement) and I'm now able to do things I loved to do when I was younger... and things I could not do because my hip anomaly made me 'klutzy.' Who knows what I can do now? Not me... but am enjoying being surprised every day!

My daughter will be going to college this fall and I'm wondering what I will do next. I thought I knew, but those plans dissolved so I'm now pondering the next WalkAbout in this life time.

I'm a former shop teacher and frustrated artist / craftsman / sculptor ready to reignite my art.

Care to join me or at least amuse each other while finding a new path?

Upon meeting me most people guess I'm in my fifties and that's how I feel.. I'm actually WAY better now than I was when I was in my forties. So you get life experience with a lot of energy and fun. (Such a deal!)

I love... intelligent conversation laced with breath taking repartee and wise cracks; Humor that shreds propriety and convention and leads to belly laughs, gasps and tears; Honesty and sincerity; Mutual respect. Comfort in the unseen and spirituality; And of course a mischievous twinkle in the eyes and deeply connected sexuality.

Want to come out and play? I love to laugh and make people laugh. Humor runs in my family... no wait, in my family it gallops!

And... I guarantee my business is the strangest thing you've ever heard of.

My cover story is that i'm a 'real estate consultant.' I am a professional house healer and ghost buster... (yes really.) I do remote healing of places, people and businesses. A big market for me is houses that won't sell. Actually it's not ghost 'busting' it's ghost rescue... they are just lost and confused. Now demons are a whole other story...

I also have personal experiences that pretty much nobody else has. Great for fascinating conversations!

What I’m doing with my life
Building my 'consulting' business.

Working from home.

Raising my fantastic daughter who will be off to college in the fall.

Waiting expectantly for whatever, and/or whomever will be the next wonderful surprising adventure in my life. Life is good.
I’m really good at
I'm still trying to live up to what was written about me in my Junior High School Year Book: 'Jack of All Trades... Master of Most.'

Making people laugh.

I can also figure out things other people can't figure out.

I'm told I'm a great public speaker, which is good since it's a big part of how I get business.

I'm good at my increasingly strange work.

Oh... and I'm hot.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile and my eyes... then my shoulders or legs, depending on what they can see. Occasionally someone does notice the wings.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A) BOOKS... funny Metaphysical Fantasy or Sci Fi like the 5-part Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy trilogy... but mostly I read non-fiction about my work or spriritual and psychological topics.

B) FILM... The Secret, What the Bleep do We Know? (and the director's cut Down the Rabbit Hole.) Cloud Atlas, Inception, Constantine, HellBoy, What Dreams May Come, Sixth Sense, Star Wars, Matrix, Harry Potter, The Incredibles, Wallace and Grommet... love film!

C) MUSIC... Blues, Ragtime, Baroque, anything with syncopation (We've all been baroque and had the blues at some time.) Smooth Jazz, Ambient, New Age, Chants, Native American, Folk, Singer-Songwriters, Doo Wop. Lot's of other things, but these are favs. Always more to learn about and enjoy.

D) FOODS... There are only two food groups. Things that go with chocolate and things that go with garlic. A few foods cross over.

I have found in the past few years that I need to be gluten free. I love things with spice that make me feel warm... mexican, indian, thai, but also love great salads, great veggie dishes, creatively grilled chicken...

And, for some reason good Ruebens (not the phoney Rubenesque turkey or tempeh versions) ...and then there is the continuing quest for the ultimate oatmeal raison cookie. (Nobody, least of all me, knows why but it's my 'raison d'etre'...or at least it was before I went gluten free)

BTW, ask me about the absolutely BEST way to eat chocolate or ice cream... or chocolate ice cream... or anything else for that matter... actually I'd have to demonstrate that.
The six things I could never do without
I've learned that other than love, air, water and gravity, there are few things I cannot make do without (doing without gravity might be fun.)

I do have strong preferences however... including doing important work, being with my kid, good company, art, connection to Spirit, laughing so hard that I cannot breath (alone or with company) and great sex, (preferably with company.) I put that last so you wouldn't think I was trashy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Shifting the balance between Light and dark.
On a typical Friday night I am
It used to be picking my kid up from ballet lessons and watching a movie together. No telling now...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm different from your average bear, but you'll have take some time to find out how.

A favorite line from the movie 'Ella Enchanted'...
Prince: You're just not like the others.
Ella: You have NO idea!

Oh... and, I see dead people and I snore
