My Self-Summary

I'm being told this is supposed to be an open-ended essay. If you want to know something ask. How is that for an open ended essay?

What I’m doing with my life

Working hard, playing hard and trying to figure out my next step on this crazy road called life. Let's see what all do I have going on in my life... First off, work; active duty military with all the craziness and baggage that that entails. Second a 50 year old house that I'm completely renovating while living in it. For those out there who might consider such a venture you need to get your heads checked as badly as I do! When the previous things give me a break or I decide to take a break I'm either trying to figure out where I'm headed next in life or working on about the only hobby I currently have. And that hobby is another story for another time...

I’m really good at

Hmmm! Let's see now...
Finding and fixing problems, getting in WAY over my head and being stubborn for starters. I guess that hits the high points for the time being.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm tall and have my hair cut really short.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Too many books to even think about listing, my Wish List on Amazon.com is about a mile long. A mix of history, science, technology, engineering, sci-fi, politics and the list goes on. I guess some would call me a polymath for that. I just call myself nuts!

As far as food goes if it isn't currently moving under it's own power I'll consider eating it. Favorites include any kind of Oriental (sushi, sashimi, stir fry etc). And when I put my mind to it I'm a pretty mean cook if I do say so myself.

The six things I could never do without

I guess I'm not supposed to list off Maslow's Hierarchy here am I?

1) Friends (not the TV show, although I will admit it had its moments)
2) Dreams (as in what do I want to be when I grow up? Oh who am I kidding? I'm never going to grow up!)
3) Books, big thick books with titles that scare people!

I'll figure out the rest someday soon. Maybe....

4)
5)
6)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Where I'm headed in life.

On a typical Friday night I am

Either non-functional and almost asleep before the sun even gets close to setting or up to my elbows in sawdust and such working in my basement.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have secrets and if you get to know me you might learn some of them.

You should message me if

You have read everything above this and don't want to strangle me for my atrocious writing, sarcasm and crappy humor.
