So I rolled into south Florida on the invite from a friend who needed a pilot. Seeing a perfect opportunity to escape students trying to kill me, I jumped at the chance. I fly for a company that takes happy people back and forth to paradise by way of wings and floats and love everything about my job and life.
I'm a huge fan of mountain biking through urban terrain. I also snorkel, kayak, hike, camp and generally stay outside. Everyday I try to find adventure in my life. Yesterday (Aug 24th) I flew to Bimini, landed on the water. Snorkeled the three sisters reefs and got stung by a jelly fish.
Today's adventure (8/25): Bounced a landing but still made it smooth. Rescued an iguana from certain death via Hanger door.
Today's adventure (8/29): Reassemble a radio becon and brush the dirt off my flying machine
Today's adventure: (9/1) Cat Cay island. So beautiful, I almost wanted a mechanical issue so I could stick around.
Tomorrow, I have no idea what's to come, but I'm looking forward to it.
I've been a few places and seen a few things, alot thanks to Uncle Sam. What I can tell you is that Germany and Austria are beautiful and the food in Italy is so much better than our Americanized variety. Luxemburg isn't too shabby either. Friendliest people I've ever met are just to the north in Canada.
