I'm an athletic, social, employed, ambitious and light-hearted guy. I'm on this site because I believe in exploring all venues when it comes to romance (I probably wouldn't have met you if not for this site, right?). The meeting-through-friends and bar scene haven't really yielded anything worthwhile so I'm hoping to meet some like-minded ladies on okcupid.

What do I mean by like-minded, you ask? You're so curious! Well I'm at a very stable and happy place right now. I'm enjoying the freedom and spontaneity of the single life, but have the time and energy for someone worthwhile. Work is satisfying and there's room to grow. I have lots of people in my life that I care about and hang with on the reg. I'm very health conscious and spend a fair bit of time in the gym. I'm in the best shape I've ever been in and really enjoy bacon (seriously, bacon on all the things). I ask questions and wonder about the world. I like knowing how things work and I'm fun to be around. I keep up to date on current events and have strong, but open-minded opinions. Sarcasm and dark humor are my forte and I play a mean game of pool.

Honestly I just really enjoy cool people. I'm not looking for anything serious, but I'm not opposed to it either. I'm really picky (probably too picky for my own good) and know what I want. If I appeal to your lady-senses (are they tingling?) feel free to say hi :D

Work:
I'm a software developer for a tech firm in Belltown. The work is stimulating and the people are just as laid back as I am. I basically come into work to hang out with friends and do what I love. The industry I work in is fascinating and lends itself to hilarious stories and shenanigans.

Social:
- Getting happy hour drinks with coworkers in Belltown
- Hanging with closer friends for hbo night on Sundays (seriously, The Newsroom is amazing)
- Playing boardgames (read: Settlers of Catan, Cards Against Humanity) with buddies
- Staying late at the gym to chat with fellow crossfitters about the various skills we're working on
- Spinning fire at Gasworks on occasion
- House parties, bar/club hopping, etc.

I'm easy to talk to, relaxed, open-minded, smile a lot, laugh even more often and have very blue eyes.

Books -
I generally prefer sci-fi/fantasy books, but I've read and enjoy many other genres as well. For the sake of brevity, here's a short list of some of my favorites:

Ender's Game, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Lord of the Rings Trilogy (but The Hobbit was better), The Song of Ice and Fire series, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and the Dark Tower series.

Music -
I listen to everything from classic rock to dubstep. I like anything with a beat I can move to.

Movies -
Labyrinth, The Matrix, Pineapple Express, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Shoot 'Em Up, Idiocracy, Grandma's Boy, Inglorious Basterds, Kill Bill series, Inception, Star Wars (4-6), 5th element.

Television -
Dexter, Game of Thrones, Californication, BSG, Always Sunny, Arrested Development, Archer, The Newsroom, Workaholics, etc
