My self-summary
Moved to Wauwatosa about 3 months ago and work for a engineering consulting firm in the area.

Ultimately, I am looking to make friends and see what happens from there. Have been "on the road" for about two years and am at my wits end to keep myself entertained and completly sick of cooking for one.

I am in the process of getting back to my active lifestyle. Let's ride bikes! I also played hockey growing up and want to learn how to speed skate, kinda neat that we have a Olympic rink in our backyard.

I don't think anyone on here likes to write the first message. I'm probably gonna fall flat on my face if I message you first. I hope that's OK.
What I’m doing with my life
Organizing the stuff I've had in storage for so long. Putting my tools to use. Trying not to go shopping when I'm hungry. Actually trying to stay in one place for awhile (not including personal travel). Riding my bike more. Enjoying good music in a comfortable chair. Keeping a well stocked and diverse liquor cabined by not drinking, because I like the idea of having a well stocked liquor cabinet just a bit more than the consumption part (unless there is company, let's dig in!). Buying nice things for my parents because they diserve it. Getting silly with my niece. Trying to keep some house plants alive. Finding new excel formulas. Major yard work in progress.
I’m really good at
My best quality is loyalty to friends and family.
I am good at:
helping people move
Building rock walls
Throwing things
Ice hockey
I can hold down first base pretty well and hit for singles (softball)
I love trees, but when they gotta go...they gotta go and it might as well be me behind the chainsaw.
Starting fires
Tolerating the cold
General McGuivering
Trivia minus the pop culture part
Euchre and pinochle
Making chicken stock
Not loosing my cool
Biking in traffic.
Making up fake names: Rex Kevlar, Nash Sodium, Axel Tripod...
I am a decent swimmer
Patience...example: I once thought my mom how to use Facebook so she could teach her mom how to use Facebook. Think about hurts.
For a bigger guy, I can squeeze in some small spaces.
I can maneuver a wheelbarrow like none other for extended periods of time. Ramps make it more fun.
Repetitive tasks. If you need help stuffing a million envelops let me know.
Apparently lists.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My all time favorite book is Maniac McGee and its for middle schoolers. The Power of One is a close second. (Post thought update: I had to dust off Maniac for a read)

Movies...I watch them, enjoy them, and for the most part forget about them. Favorites: Wayne's World and Shawshank Redemption.

Music...pretty much everything except newer country. I have an extensive music collection, sorta getting dated, but I am always down to trade music. I just got a new stereo, Bam Bam, it is a sonic experience.
I am more into individual songs. Some at the top of my list include: Fast Car-Tracy Chapman, Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes-Paul Simon, Riders on the Storm-The Doors, All of My Days, Alexi Murdoch, Nashville Skyline Rag-Bob Dylan, Where It's At-Beck, See See Rider-J.J. Johnson, Down To Zero & Woncha Come On Home-Joan Armatrading, Calling Elvis-Dire Straights, If Your Ever in Oklahoma-J.J. Cale, Mr. Wendal-Arrested Development, Grace is Gone-Dave Mathews, New Mule Skinner Blues-Bill Monroe, Cello Song-Nick Drake, Pressure Drop-Toots & The Maytals, What It's Like-Everlast, Airstream Driver-Gomez, Too Many Dicks (On the Dance Floor)-Flight of the Conchords.
The six things I could never do without
Wool clothing
Cast Iron pans
Last but not least..humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Building stuff.
Sometimes I wonder about space...then I get freaked out.
What life is like for a squirrel.
What if everyone drove go karts.
Why coffee tastes better on Sundays.
Chickens, I don't think about them much, but when I see them I love thinking about whats going on in there. Ever see a chicken scream across the yard, violently stab the ground and jet?
On a typical Friday night I am

I have been going to a lot of weddings lately.
Otherwise random shit.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I picked pop cans out of the garbage across campus to feed myself for a year. 10 cent return goes a long way.
