My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Looking for friends really. Not so much into going to the clubs and stuff usually so this is a good way to meet other gay guys I think. Moved here as a teenager from the midwest. Went out to Houston for a few years for school before coming back to Austin.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working my way through school. Playing guitar. Love museums. Would like to explore more hiking areas in the hill country. Road trips are great. Been a regular at metal and punk shows for as far back as I can remember so hit me up if you're into the underground scene.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I don't really think I'm all that good at it, but I do play Go and Chess casually, and many people don't know how to play them, so I may be better than some of them by default
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Always look a little confused.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite novels ever are easily Mason & Dixon and Brothers Karamazov. Usually only read non-fiction when I do read, which isn't all that often. Working on Godel Escher Bach and the Making of the Atomic Bomb now. Favorite movie is 2001: A Space Odyssey. I'm a fan of old Westerns. There are so many great places to eat in Texas. I lean towards Tex-Mex and BBQ but probably shellfish-- oysters, clams etc. are my favorite. A lot of different music. In virtually every genre, there's always something -- it depends more on the musician for me than the genre. But recent shows I've gone to or have tickets to have been Behemoth, Pig Destroyer, Swans, Sleep, Faith No More, Napalm Death... Don't watch much tv but early Simpsons is some funny stuff. Kroll Show and Broad City are great.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Global warming.
