My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was born in Nebraska and raised in Iowa, which means that I'll always call soda "pop." Don't try to change me, baby.

I work as a closed captioner in Burbank - it's fun work and a great 9-to-5. Gives me time to focus on writing, which is my real passion (it's why I moved to LA, won some awards). I play drums in a rock band called Brother Sam. We've played Park Bar and Grill, Fox and Hounds, House of Blues, a few other spots. I bake the hell out of a pie: apple, blueberry/strawberry, lemon meringue, pumpkin. Cookies too. Enjoy finding 2-3 hour hikes around the Valley. Not big on sports, but I can enjoy a game if someone tells me who to root for.

On the lookout for a fellow nerd who's funny and pretty.
