My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Now, if you ever met me, here's a few things i'd probably do:

I'll probably smile a wide smile, I'll probably extol the virtues of cereal, I'll probably tell a story about my time in Acapulco, I'll probably talk about living in relative isolation in the south of Japan for a year and a half whilst writing my second novel, I'll probably try and explain the relationship between determinism, fatalism and incompatibilism, I'll probably laugh louder than anyone else in the room, I'll probably talk about love, I'll probably admit to something that I probably shouldn't, I'll probably draw a moustache on my face, I'll probably talk about my want to become a submariner, I'll probably weave some sort of long tale, I'll probably call myself a geek, I'll probably dance terribly, I'll probably not want to go to sleep until everyone else has, I'll probably try and make a really bad cocktail, I'll probably hint at the horror that was my first time in Las Vegas then not tell you what actually happened, I'll probably say I'll write you a letter and that I have many wax seals, I'll probably show you at least one tattoo and tell you the related story, I'll probably talk about books, I'll probably mention how I am Anglo Celt, I'll probably mention how I've written two novels (one published), I'll probably wax lyrical about the moon and the desert at night, I'll probably get distracted, I'll probably talk about my one regret, I'll probably talk about 'Bevski,' I'll probably mention how silly Pandas are in real life, I'll probably give you a genuine compliment, I'll probably try and show you a bad magic trick, I'll probably mention how the sun never affects my skin, I'll probably try and wear at least one inappropriate thing as a hat, I'll probably mention Hunter S Thompson, I'll probably talk about the human condition, I'll probably shrug my shoulders and smile and say 'one for the road?"

You know, just a heads up.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Learning how to run with scissors.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Meditation, stories, cooking, mischief, shenanigans, laughing very loudly and making others do so, holding a continual note for up to 2 minutes, lucid dreaming, making fresh sushi, running amok and sabotage.

I also have a firm hand, a tight grip and a hair cut you can set your watch by.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I get 'you look like someone famous' a fair amount, latest three comparisons have included; 'A weird Joseph Gordon Levitt' 'A tall William Boroughs' and 'A young Micky Rouke' - add 'a little like Edward Norton' to that list...

Also, I can smile. I'm taller than people believe when they first see me. I'm fairly pale, but I get told I have nice skin. I have silly, big glasses but I promise you they're needed to see. I've been told a lot recently I don't look 30, which I take as a compliment.

Lists aren't always that helpful. I'm a sci-fi geek at heart, currently reading 100 Years of Solitude which is proving to be one of the most beautiful and tragic books I've ever read, completely hooked. I studied journalism at Uni because of HST and continue to be compared to him in regards to my speech patterns. I absorb Ballard and Vonnegut and Heller and Orwell and mix them all up to help me figure out things. I read a bit of nonfiction, the 'very short introduction to...' books are particularly helpful for getting a foothold on any particular subject. Currently reading DTM: The Spirit Molecule by Rick Strassman and it's proving exceptionally interesting. Not a fan of biographies.

I'll eat just about anything, I'm a dab hand at fresh sushi and a variety of asian cuisine which I enjoy cooking almost as much as I enjoy eating.

I am currently completely obsessed with the 'Synthwave' / 'NewRetroWave' / 'Outrun' movement, musicians like PowerGlove and La Cassette write the music to my life montage but there's nothing quite like a bit of Beethoven to get the old audio sensory meridian response going (if you know what your ASMR is and enjoy experimenting with it, you absolutely have to message me)

Films are a big one. I've never found one that I didn't like, apart from 13th Warrior with Antonio Banderas, that was pretty shocking.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm a bit of a Buddhist in this regard, impermanence and all that, there's not actually anything I could never do without.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Bit of adventure, bit of the fate of the universe, bit of moral philosophy, bit of modern neuroscience, bit of smiles from my past, bit of anticipation for the future, bit of why? bit of how?

I also enjoy writing haiku's about 80s scifi movies.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There's nothing typical about my blah blah blah...reading, writing or out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

I'm a definite sapiosexual, a big eye gazer, a pale skin fanatic...and just to put it out there, it's become startlingly obvious of late I'm very attracted to androgyny, if you have a shaved head I might ask you to marry me...though after some recent messages, I should also probably point out that androgyny isn't the only thing I'm attracted to, just one of lots of traits I'm particularly fond of...

I'd like someone to get in trouble with, not bad trouble, but let's not be good either, right?

Teach me something new, that's all I ever want.
