I am charming, silly, and outspoken.

My Self-Summary

They say the Internet is the new singles scene.
I am dubious but slightly intrigued.
I'm a single mom. I can make things. Two at a time, even.
I'm a student. Someday when I grow up I want to be a rockstar. But that's not what I'm going to school for. I'm going to school to be a Medical Insurance Specialist *which is a fancy way of saying billing and coding*.
I sing a lot. According to other people I'm good at it. It makes me happy.

What I’m doing with my life

Going to school, working, chasing funny tiny five-year-olds, laughing, reading, playing volleyball.

I’m really good at

Talking. Typing. Reading large books. Using big words. Spelling. Chuckling.

The first things people usually notice about me

I hate this question! That I'm awesome? My glasses? That I'm kinda tall?

Right now they notice that my hair is short. I cut it recently and it's really quite short in the back. I had contacts in the other day and four people I've known my whole life walked right by me. This unnerves me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I have a deep and passionate love affair with the written word. Also with lasagna. As for music, if I can sing along to it, then it's pretty much love at first sound. Movie tastes range from 'if it's got Seth Rogen in it' to 'if it's got Audrey Hepburn in it' to 'if there aren't any serial killers in it'.

The six things I could never do without

My cell phone. Ah, demon creation. My car, because I live twenty miles away from everywhere. Power. It runs my life. Water. I drink it, bathe in it, use it to make cups of tea. A volleyball, because it's just excellent. Bobby pins, because they keep my hair out of my face.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Universal Health Care legislation. Why I'm no good at Physiology. Where the wild things are. What Brown Bear sees.

On a typical Friday night I am

Trying to do something non-school related! Singing at a karaoke bar. Watching a movie. Dancing, even though I got no rhythm.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Is that I'm a totally open book. Okay, not really. I try to tell people the worst things about me right off the bat, so they can't say they weren't warned. I'm just like that.

You should message me if

You are intrigued by the freckle just below my eye.
You really like the show "Glee" even though it's kind of stupid but the voices are ohmygosh awesome so you watch it every week anyway.
You talk a lot. Or are really patient with nonsensical monologues.
You think 'big words' are a vital and inextractable part of who you are.
