Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a SoCal raised guy who moved to SF in the past couple of years.
I'm taking full advantage of SF's extraordinary outdoor scene by
hiking my way through it, one trail at a time.
I do miss being able to go to the beach at a moment's notice for a
BBQ and tossing the football around though. Curse you foggy
I love doing anything that's outdoors, underwater or with a small,
close-knit group of friends.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've been in the software game industry for about 15 years.
I just recently left a corporate-y job for an exciting start-up.
This will be an awesome opportunity to learn, grow and do amazing
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Learning new things! Life is too short to not try something new and
exciting as often as possible.
I recently just picked up archery so I can relive my Katniss
Everdeen/Hunger Games/apocalyptic fantasies. Did you know I trained
Hawkeye? I taught him everything he knows!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My goofy smile!
Apparently I smile at my own jokes like Jimmy Fallon. Not sure if
my friends meant that as a compliment or an insult.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love reading John Scalzi, Raymond Feist, Malcolm Gladwell, John
Grisham and James Rollins.
In my fantasy world the bad guys always lose and the good guys
always win, which is the way it should be :). That's why I like
shows with happy endings like Chuck, The Rock, Lord of the Rings, A
Walk To Remember, Enchanted, Criminal Minds and Bones.
Music-wise, I love to sing, so I like music with strong lyrics like
Taylor Swift, Josh Groban (because you raise me up!), or musicals
like Les Mis, Wicked or Phantom.
My favorite food type is probably seafood. I'm mildly allergic to
shellfish, but I eat it anyways because it's awesome and sometimes
swollen lips, incessant sneezing and teary eyes is a small price to
pay for deliciousness.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family and Friends: They're the rock that I lean on when the going
Challenges: I loved being pushed to excel in new things.
Cell Phone: It's like a computer away from home.
Bags: I have a gym bag, work backpack, tennis backpack, hiking
camelbak, archery backpack, travel duffel, camping rucksack and
they are all totally necessary!
Chocolate: 70% Dark is perfection.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How can I help make the world a better place so that I would be
happy passing it down to my kids?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
...getting dinner and playing board games with close friends. I
love playing Citadels!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have 4th row tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in August and
it's going to be AWESOME!
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
...you're looking for someone to share your ambition and passion
I admire someone who is passionate about something, no matter how
big or small, and is willing to invest the time and energy to
I admire an ambitious person that strives for greater; they are
always learning and growing and willing to take risks and push
themselves to be better. Only dead fish follow the stream!
