My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a SoCal raised guy who moved to SF in the past couple of years. I'm taking full advantage of SF's extraordinary outdoor scene by hiking my way through it, one trail at a time.

I do miss being able to go to the beach at a moment's notice for a BBQ and tossing the football around though. Curse you foggy weather!

I love doing anything that's outdoors, underwater or with a small, close-knit group of friends.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and I've been in the software industry for about 15 years.

I just recently left my relatively safe and secure job for a small start-up. Regardless of what happens, I will learn a lot and grow from this experience.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Learning new things! Life is too short to not try something new and exciting as often as possible.

I recently just picked up archery so I can relive my Katniss Everdeen/Hunger Games/apocalyptic fantasies. Right now, I can hit everything except the thing I'm aiming at, so I think I'm almost there.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My goofy smile!

Apparently I smile at my own jokes like Jimmy Fallon. Not sure if my friends meant that as a compliment or an insult.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love reading Dan Brown, Raymond Feist, Malcolm Gladwell, John Grisham and James Rollins.

My favorite movie of all time is probably The Rock but I also like RomComs like Enchanted and A Walk To Remember.

I'm into TV crime dramas like Criminal Minds, Bones, and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. I think it's because the bad guys always lose and the good guys always wins, which is the way it should be :).

Music-wise, I love to sing, so it's mostly pop or musicals that I can sing to like Taylor Swift, Les Mis or Boyz II Men.

My favorite food type is probably seafood. I'm mildly allergic to shellfish, but I eat it anyways because it's awesome and sometimes swollen lips, incessant sneezing and teary eyes is a small price to pay for deliciousness.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family and Friends: They're the rock that I lean on.
Challenges: I loved being pushed to excel in new things.
Computer: I might be addicted to the internetz.
Cell Phone: It's like a computer away from home.
Chocolate: 70% Dark is perfection.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think I have my 2 or 3 major life goals figured out, but I still need to figure out the incremental goals and skills I need to develop to get there.

Do I even lift?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I recently started to take some dance classes so uhh...I'm not very good yet, but I try hard!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't believe in secrets. If I'm keeping something a secret, it either means I'm ashamed of it and should really stop doing it or I'm not ashamed of it and I should be proud of it!

I'm going to Taylor Swift's concert in August, and it's going to be AWESOME!

...you're looking for someone to share your ambition and passion with!

I admire someone who is passionate about something, no matter how big or small, and is willing to invest the time and energy to master it.

I admire an ambitious person that strives for greater; they are always learning and growing and willing to take risks and push themselves to be better. Only dead fish follow the stream!
