My Self-Summary
Hi, my name is Jonas. I'm a college student just looking for some
cool friends. I don't have many gay friends this summer where I'm
living, and would be glad to have some people to talk to.
I major in Natural Resources, Environmental Science. I wanted to save the world, then i realized the Earth can look out for itself, the only question is whether humans will still have the privilege of living on it. It's just something we're going to have to come to face sooner or later because we just can't keep ravaging the earth and expect her to provide us with enough food and shelter to survive.
I hope that humans can learn to live more harmoniously , not only with nature, but even other humans, as their is still disrespect among different peoples and such. I don't like it when people think of me as an environmentalist who only looks out for nature. I want us all to live together. Disrespecting nature disrespects everything that we depend on to live, and therefore, it disrespects the human race. I think more people need to realize that.
I don't have much time right now, but I'll try to get on later to write some more. If you want to chat, feel free!

What I’m doing with my life
Attending college for a degree I don't think I'm all that
interested in anymore. I'd like to do some volunteer work for SCA
or the Peace Corps and see if that's right for me, but I want to
finish my 4 year degree first.
I want to find a job that uses GIS (mapping on computers) in order to prevent environmental problems such as invasive species and deforestation.
Right now, I'm spending the summer completing a nonpaid internship with the Adirondack Park Agency using GIS and I love it!
