My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My friends would say I have my head screwed on straight but in the clouds. I am always in search of new experiences or new knowledge and hope to gauge my life by these experiences as well as the people I meet along the way. Who I'm looking for? I don't think I have a set of requirements. There are a few things that stand out I suppose. I tend to see beauty in most every woman, some aspect of who they are or how they carry themselves. I want someone who can appreciate life as I do. I appreciate practicality, but I don't need a negative person. I want someone who is sociable as I am and doesn't need to cling to me to have a good time. I want someone who will pull me in directions I may not have otherwise looked and someone who doesn't mind stepping off the immediate path themselves. I'm a constant balance between my logic and my heart. I am an observer and a traveler. I enjoy road racing even if it's only with myself on back roads. Music is huge to me and reflects my mood. I love my friends including the ones I haven't made yet. I have been fortunate enough to have some amazing friends over the years, just seems we always scatter to opposite ends of the compass. But hey, seeing them is another excuse to travel!

ENFP or ENTP depending on the test.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have been successful in my current career which followed six years in the Army. I could continue to do well here but it requires that I stay overseas for long periods of time. I will be giving this up and starting fresh soon. I plan to go to school for Architecture and city planning.

I'll be doing the Mongol Rally or Rickshaw Challenge this year. Other things on the docket include joining a Tall-Ship, hiking the Appalachian trail, the Camino De Santiago in Spain and WOOFing my way across the world. I hope to bring the Chap Olympiad to Savannah and would like to stage a big wheel race/Hook style foodfight in Forsyth sometime. I love the burlesque/vaudeville scene and am working to produce a show in Savannah. I'm also a hasher....that will make for a heck of a conversation and an amazing time if you're up for it.

I hear I have a voice for radio, maybe I can take that somewhere?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at staying up later than I mean to/want to/should.

I'm pretty good at.....

Driving/racing, writing, speech, photography

and my favorite, noticing the little things around us that make life so awesome.
The first things people usually notice about me

Books: Honestly everything by Tom Robbins; he is far and away my favorite author. Of his books, Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates takes my cake. Also, 1984, Slaughterhouse Five, Brave New World, Galapagos, Game of Thrones, Lamb, Fight Club, The Ten Thousand, The God Delusion, Gods and Legions.

I have a pretty banging library it would take me years to read, many books that probably will deserve a place on this list.

Film and Shows: In no particular order: The Fountain, The Illusionist, Rocky Horror (aspiring shadowcast Eddie) Moon, Moonrise Kingdom, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Game of Thrones, Amelie, The Walking Dead, The Last Emperor, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, The Prestige, Iron Man, The Hangover, The Time Travelers Wife, Seven Years in Tibet, Anchorman, Fight Club, Dexter series, Californication series, Boondock Saints, Children of Men, Saving Pvt Ryan, Oceans 11, All Indiana Jones

Music: good god I cant here, Music syncs with my mood and setting. I'll just have to say that I've god a huge variety of stuff. Pretty much everything but pop and current country. My current spiel is mostly Americana I suppose, Edward Sharpe, Fleet Foxes, Dawes, Bon Iver, Iron & Wine, A.A. Bondy, Lord Huron......

Food: Now that's an easier question, Japanese, Sushi, steak, potatoes, onion rings, steak and cheese sandwiches, BLT's, schnitzel, bratwurst, eggrolls, sesame chicken, pears, kiwi, cantaloupe, cooler ranch Doritos, chips and queso....
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) I generally need to have something to look forward to, so, a future
2) Aesthetics
3) Music
4) Something leather
5) Something to read
6) A good Japanese restaurant nearby
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think of where I am and where I'm going. Mostly the many paths/adventures that lie ahead and which one to take next.

What could be.

God forbid I look up and get lost in the stars.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It could go several ways...most common I suppose....

1) Out somewhere with friends, a beer or whiskey in hand. Mata Hari's, Mcdunoughs or Congress St. typically.
2) On the road somewhere new.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've spent a lot of time overseas and my heart has paid for it.
