Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Moved to Tucson after a long time freezing my ass off in MN.
I came here for school and a change in scenery.
Looking to make friends and more.
My priorities are that Life comes first. Work is second. I believe
that there is more to life than work.
I’m typically very laid back, and can be a big smart ass at
I certainly am not a type A personality.
If guys were literally dogs, not just figuratively, I’d be a cross
between a Shepherd and a Lab. Very playful, loving, affectionate,
understanding and forgiving. Yet I’m also am extremely protective
of my friends.
I can appear to be a bit distant at times when Introversion and
Aspergers kicks in. It's just me being lost in thought.
I can come off as shy at first. Trust me. I'm not. Just ask more of
me and I'll open up.
I guess that's the basics.
If you want to know anything, just ask.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Looking for that balance between work and play and relaxation and
indulgence and simply living life.
I need no convincing to go lounge poolside in Mexico or Vegas. When
it's too cold outside to leave the comfort of my couch, I camp out
watching movies all weekend.
I've traveled a lot.
I'd live in London, Prague or Puerto Vallarta if I could find work
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Procrastinating and being lazy.
Focusing and getting shit done when motivated.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told that my face lies. I look angry or sad or grumpy or
unhappy when I'm not. Again... it's the aspergers.
At the same time... it does help my poker face. :)
I’m comfortable in silence, yet I can talk your ear off if I get
too much caffeine.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Book wise... I read David Sedaris, Jeremy Clarkson, Anthony Bordain
and whatever else grabs my funny bone.
Daily it's... Gizmodo (and sister sites), Thought Catalog, The
Minimalists, Zen Habits, Mark Daily Apple, BBC news, Economist and
various British rag sheets and random blogs on a daily basis.
My humor leans anywhere from cynical to slapstick. Thus I watch
Anthony Bordain, Ace of Cakes, Good Eats, Mr. Bean, old cartoons,
Pixar movies and The Three Stooges whenever I encounter them.
For some odd reason, I'll stop to watch any silent movie
Music wise... I'm all over the map.
Lately, I've been rotating Gogol Bordello, Gary Clark Jr., Kaki
King and Infected Mushroom.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) the dog
2) the jeep
Both have been all over the USA and Mexico these past 3
3) the ability to laugh at and get past the seemingly
insurmountable hurdles encountered in life
4) the warm hugs and hearing "I missed you" when you see an old
6) passport - need it to travel
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
When I do think, I think way too much and too often.
About anything and everything.
Then there's times I'm just off meditating.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Still figuring things out as I settle into Tucson.
The normal hanging with my friends, out to movies, eating,
relaxing, drinking and bullshitting until the sun comes up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Nothings really private with me. You want to know, just ask.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
My brain fumbles at times on what to say... so first moves are
If you have the willingness to laugh with or at least at me when
I'm acting like a juvenile delinquent... that would be
If you can do that and like to make me laugh and smile too, better
If you can handle not being the sole focus of my existence.
Can you accept that I may only give you 2 days (or hours) notice
that my wanderlust has kicked and I'm off to "where ever" until I
get back (when ever that may be)?
Or your are willing to pack a bag, grab the passport and come
If you can go with the flow when being my friend or more... whether
it's the random life I lead, the aspergers, or whatever.
