5' 1" (1.55m)
Body Type
Judaism but it’s not important
Doesn’t have kids

My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love honesty, racket sports, craft cocktails, learning new things, and doodles that don't stay in the margins.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I do economic research at a hedge fund. I stumbled into it straight out of school and think I lucked out -- I love trying to understand how the economy works. But to be honest, I think so many things are interesting, and I just want to work on something that I like that hopefully matters.

On the other hand, I think I'll be an excellent retiree. Then I can finally spend time drawing/painting, learning to code, becoming a kickass poker and bridge player, honing my cooking skills, becoming fluent in Spanish, achieving a deep understanding of politics, attempting to write something interesting, and all the other things I theoretically want to do with my weekends.

I'm originally from LA, but everyone tells me I don't seem like an LA girl (I'll let you decide what that means). After four years at school in the tiny, cold, beautiful town of Hanover, NH, and a few more years here, I'm still figuring out how I feel about seasons. Fall is gorgeous, but winter is coming.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You'd notice that I'm short -- but you would never notice how amazing I am at miss pac man.

I love to read -- fiction, poetry, essays. When Oliver Sacks passed away I started reading a bunch of his essays, fell in love, and am currently in the middle of The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat. I also recently loved the Elena Ferrante novels (but haven't read the new one, so no spoilers please or I will definitely not go on a date with you!)

Favorite movies: Back to the Future, The Fugitive, Moonrise Kingdom, The Incredibles. How good was Inside Out?!

Favorite shows: Sherlock, West Wing, Orange is the New Black, and The Good Wife. Love overanalyzing all of it.

Music: you know, standard indie shit. And this EDM band called Odesza. Jazz for doing work, and Taylor Swift for dancing around in my room.

Food: I love trying new things, but my favorite kind of cuisine is probably breakfast sandwiches. As a kid I once ate a habanero pepper on a dare at tennis camp but wouldn't call it a favorite.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The veracity of Snapple facts
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Tired, happy, and probably a little tipsy

my profile seems intriguing, of course.

Also if:
- you're looking for a real partnership
- you don't mind that I can sometimes be pretty busy on weekdays
- you're as indecisive about ordering at restaurants as I am and want to split things. even (especially?) if it's something unsplittable, like soup.
