I got invited to this great vintage event last night where my friend Mary was performing. It was a lot of fun and really challenging to get good photos. The bar (Amnesia) has _very_ low lighting and so most of my shots are 1-2 second exposures. Luckily since it was a crowd into vintage fashion I just said "these pictures are going to be old timey so you're going to have to stand very still for a few seconds." I also found out why you never see old photos of drunk people. They can't stand still for 2 seconds. So I decided to take the plunge and get some prints made of 3 nature photos I took. I ordered some 11x17's and since this is the first time I've done this process digital from start to finish I'm a bit nervous. Will the colors be accurate? I spent entirely too much time working on the CMYK color profile so I'm hoping they come out well. Here's the images if you're curious:

I recently got back into photography after an 8 year break and have been overwhelmed with how many ideas I have and things I want to shoot. When I stopped shooting back in 02 I was working on a set of urban decay and renewal photos, recently I've been shooting more nightlife and nature in addition to the urban decay. So I'm throwing it out there to internet-land, what would you like to see more of?
