clever, eccentric, and awesomesauce
My self-summary Propose an edit
I'm a geek. A
smartass, argumentative, assertive geek, but a geek
nonetheless.
I tend to be attracted, through a bizarre, unexplained cosmic shift
in gravitational pull, to other geek-type people, who may or may
not spend some of their free time in Azeroth, quote movies and webcomics excessively, and think
lolcats are one of
the highest forms of humour. I really love watching movies, especially horror movies (good
or bad), but I define "horror" more on the "scary/suspense" side
and less on the "rampant gore." I'm fine with gore, I just think
being grossed out is nowhere near as much fun as being freaked
out.
I'm a self-professed Slytherin, which sums everything up
quite well. (Though I do condone interhouse relationships.) I
appreciate a good sense of humour and I generally prefer that
humour to be of the witty variety. I don't really condone
blah-blahing about your emotions, but I appreciate subtle types and
those who understand them.
I'm also a feminist and an atheist, so if either label freaks you
out, run now. We probably wouldn't mesh well anyway. :) I'm also a
secular
humanist, a fangirl, a wannabe guitar hero, a science groupie, and
possibly the terror that
flaps in the night. If I had my time over, I'd want to be an
evolutionary biologist
slash palaeontologist slash supervillain. And I
hate it when you try to ford the river and your fucking oxen die.
:(
Really, if you like the idea of someone waxing poetic on the
minutiae of the Harry Potter series, quoting Jurassic Park far more
often than is healthy, and getting excited whenever Mythbusters
comes on, I'm your gal.
As for what I'm looking for - basically someone I can watch movies
with, make laugh (and who'll make me laugh), doesn't take life too
seriously (but isn't, you know, living in a cardboard box), enjoys
animals and game nights, and can see eye to eye with me on at least
the important stuff - if you're looking for a girl to raise your
kids and have dinner and a clean house waiting for you when you
come home every night, you're barking up the wrong tree. :)
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
Wasting it in a hedonistic fog! Slowly accumulating supplies for
the imminent zombie apocalypse! Working on
a gene sequencer to fill in the missing gaps in dinosaur DNA and start my own
theme park!
..No, not really. I'm in law school, since it seemed like a
good idea at the time. No idea where I'm going from here, but I'll
have a shiny degree to wave around. I just know my future involves
a lot of travel, showering myself with gifts, and a house full of
animals.
I'm really good at Propose an edit
Making my friends laugh. And laughing myself. I'm pretty easily
amused.
Looking on the bright side of life. :) (Cue whistling?)
Getting into really stupid internet debates (SRS BIZNIS) and
pwning. 8D
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
People seem to claim I have a great smile. Which is just as well,
because anything mildly amusing will have me grinning like an
idiot.
The first thing people notice about me online, I think, is either
that I am a complete goof or that I'm very opinionated, depending
on what the topic of discussion is.

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
1. The Internet. Yes, what a horrible answer, but it's true. I
don't know how I could function without the wide world of Google at
my fingertips.
2. Movies. Both going to the cinema and watching at home; I love
watching 'em and it'd be horrid to have to live without them.
3. Pets of some sort. They just boost life's enjoyment. I have two
cats right now and they drive me insane, but I love 'em.
4. Supernatural. Seriously, do not underestimate my obsession with
this show.
5. Books of some sort. I think I'd go nuts with boredom.
6. A nice meal out every now and then. I really hope I get a decent
job and am able to treat myself, or I won't be happy.
One thing I could definitely do without? My cellphone. I love my
phone, but I hate that its assumed function is a magical summoning
device which demands my immediate attention. Seriously.
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
Whatever interests me at the moment. Whether that be my current
obsession (right now, Harry Potter or Supernatural.. seriously),
expanding my general knowledge (I can has A Briefer History of
Time nao?), or answering whatever stupid question pops into my
head via the wonder of Wikipedia. I do not spend a lot of
time thinking about school. I am a slacker extraordinaire, I think
perhaps that is clear by now. :)
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
In my apartment, yucking it up with squidtarts, possibly on World of
Warcraft. Or else over at some good friends', drinking wine and
playing goofy board games to all hours of the
night. Or out at the movies. But it's highly unlikely you'll find
me in a bar.
(Since some people have asked - lulz! - I got no lvl 70's. QQ moar,
yeah, I know. My highest is lvl 38 and I play Horde and Alliance, on a mix of server types, and
my fav classes are hunter and rogue.. yeah, yeah, yeah. I gank and I
like it. I'd level faster if I stopped starting new chars, I swear.
Or wasn't, you know, in law school. Sadness.)
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
In the event of a zombie apocalypse, I WILL be coming back for my
cats. :(
You should message me if Propose an edit
You're cute and you think I'm cute? (LOLIDK.) Or you live in the
area, we have some interests in common, and you wanna come to a
game night or catch a movie or something sometime. :)
Really, if this were a newspaper ad, I'd probably put "Smartass,
intelligent, assertive Slytherin girl seeking cocky, clever,
cunning spoiled brat to laugh at life with." Take that as you will.
