When I was much younger my son's mother and I decided to part ways like alot of couples do. At this time I had to find a place of my own and landed this one room studio apt. that was so small you had to go outside to change your mind, for real...
My son would come over on the weekends and stay with me and she would handle the rest during the week...
one night he and I was doing our daddy son thing, we wer going to sleep. He had this weird habit that he did when he would sleep next to me... he would put his finger in my ear as he dozed off...lol
I would pull it out and he would put it right back... it was so funny...
We were talking and i mentionded to him how big he was getting and how I had to get us a bigger place so we could move around...
He says to me... half sleep with his soft voice that " Don't worry dad if I have to I'll sleep on the floor for you"
I know we all like prop our children up but that moment was very spiritual and organic to me.... and it changed my life...
