Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I used to work as a lawyer in Germany, but in my heart I have
always been an adventurer and an explorer. So I closed my law firm
in 2009 and left Germany. I have since lived in Britain, in Malta,
in Lithuania, in Italy and now in Romania.
Instead of going on vacation twice a year, I rather move to another
country for six months. This slow way of travelling gives me the
opportunity to really get to know a place, to learn about the
culture, the history, the people, the language. Due to my
curiosity, I regularly get accused of being a spy. In Iran, I spent
one week in prison because of that.
If you are looking for me, you will most likely find me in the
forest, next to the lake, reading a book and smoking a cigar. Just
follow the cigar smoke!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My next trips:
Until October 2015, I will live in Romania, with trips to Moldova, Transnistria
In November 2015, I am moving to Brazil
. Then I will travel around
Latin America for a few years.
I use Couchsurfing
while traveling, so if you want to
invite me to stay with you, I'd be happy. :-)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am thoughtful and serious, but relaxed.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
If you have to, it's surprising what you can do without. Trust me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
why such a cool and funny guy like me is so shy.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
- Cigars? Check.
- Gin? Check.
- A good book? Check.
