My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I spent the last decade ensconced in the world of theatre. I did everything and anything costume related all over the country and for every type of theatre you can think up from regional theatres, tours, broadway and opera. I quit that life to start law school. In my second year and loving it. It takes up a lot of time, but I can make time for other important things and people.

I love to travel. It's a big driving factor in my life. I have
lived in every region of this country and travel abroad whenever
possible. I spent a few weeks in India and Bhutan last summer. It was amazing completely outside anything I had ever experienced before. I spent a few months living in Tuscany a few years ago and I hope to work/live abroad again in the future. I'm headed in Antarctica for New Years this year!!!!

Manners and etiquette are important to me. I say please and thank
you. I hold the door open for people. I always write Thank You
cards and I never underestimate the power of a well written

I go with the flow. I am very calm and relaxed almost all the time.
I am exceptionally level headed. I wouldn't say I am completely
unshakeable, but I do have a thick skin. It has served me well over
the years, though, the walls I have built do take time to
penetrate. I do let people in, just not right away.

This is probably the most important passage: I'm past the random
hookup stage of my life. NSA doesn't appeal to me. I'm looking for
strings. I suppose I could be classified as a romantic. Despite
past relationship that ended poorly, I still believe in love. In
the end thats what I'm looking for. If I find it GREAT. If not, I
can wait. It's not something that should be rushed or forced.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Law School.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Staying calm and defusing tense situations.

I am also pretty good to reading people. It helps a lot at work to be able to understand what people are trying to communicate even when they can't articulate it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out! smile...hopefully.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies: I love movies so pretty much anything works for me. Favorites tend to be period dramas, romantic movies, and comedies. I am slowly making my way through all the gay movies on Netflix and let me tell you it is grim.

Music: Pretty varied. Im a big fan of Pandora. Lately though I've been listening to old school Dolly Parton, The Tallest Man On Earth, Adele, The Magnetic Fields.

Books: I love to read. I go through phases of devouring books, sometimes two a week, tempered with phases where no book seems to hold interest to me. I'm actually looking for suggestions on what to read next...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family--Scattered across the world. Rarely see them, but we talk a lot.
Friends--Really important to me. My second Family. See above.
Work--I think I would go crazy without some sort of work to do.
Surprises--Good or bad. Life would be boring without them.
Sunshine--Vitamin D we all need it.
Good Manners--A really big deal to me. Seriously. Say please and thank you.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future, but then who doesn't. I try not to get to bogged down in what might be. I try to live in the now.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually doing homework or decompressing from the week. I do go out on Fridays when there is something going on. I'm not big on the club scene, but every once in a while I get the itch to dance.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
From this day forward I am making a new vow to respond to all the emails I receive. I finally have time to find my perfect guy whoever he ends up being and I won't miss out by not responding to emails. (this being said please make them interesting emails…for both our sakes)

And, I read people's profiles in their entirety.
You should message me if

Or you have a book suggestion or someplace I should visit...especially if you want to come with me.
