My Mom told me yesterday that I was actually "Made in China"... how did I go 24 years not knowing this? I actually grew up in the DC area. I have lived in the same county since I was 2 years old yet, I am extremely directionally challenged and so I still get lost all the time. I like to think of it as unexpected tourism...

For REAL tourism... I am taking a trip throughout Belize from December 21st (my birthday) to January 10th... I am calling it my eco-volunteer-tourism adventure. If you have any advice about my trip or also randomly heading to Belize during this time... message me.

I REALLY appreciate sharp wit, the outdoors, good verbal sparing partners, lots of laughter, and a good beer… combine all five and you might have my heart. A woman the other day described me as a “whipper-snapper.” I’m not quite sure what that means…

I love sports of all kinds and prefer to watch in person rather than on TV. As for dating, I hate playing games and have little time for those who do… unless we are talking along the lines of sports, Cranium, Twister, or Scrabble… and in that case it's on like donkey kong.

I studied abroad in the interior of the Amazon in Peru and in the bush of South Africa, I’ve hiked the Mendenhall Glacier and the Inca trial, and I have been known to lay in bed til 2pm with my dog just cause… if you think that is cool or you’ve done something similar… feel free to message me.

I dance like I “just don’t care”, love just hanging with the boys, cherish the company of my girl friends, spoil my dog terribly, sometimes drink too much wine, love to wear sexy 4" stilettos (I'm 5'8"... do the math), get excited to go hiking in my Merrells, I enjoy the unexpected, I am easy to please but hard to impress, and I’m generally just looking to have a good time (in the PG sense... maybe PG-13 for language and behavior).

I also work full time for a company out of Annandale, VA that does entertaining and educational live animal shows for camps, fairs, schools, and all sorts of other events. Basically... think of Steve Irwin but in person, on a stage, and a lot less annoying (and pre stingray). I make a big fool out of myself for the sake of education. But, I have a passion for animals, adoration for kids, and interest in public education... so it works.
