I'm looking for someone I can talk to, have a giggle with and who likes me for me. They may be male, female, trans or genderqueer as I believe gender is unimportant when it comes to matters of the heart (though I do seem to be much more attracted to men at the moment). I'm trying to find the elusive 'one' I can come home to and share my life with. Ideally I would like an open relationship but this is negotiable; I know open relationships are not for everyone, but I genuinely believe that you can be in love and happy in a relationship whilst also having fun experiences with other people.

I work as a children's dance teacher and also as a dance critic for various websites and magazines. I like watching movies, going out, having coffees with friends, seeing theatre performances and staying in and snuggling.

I am a Buddhist and believe in loving kindness and compassion towards people. I'm an eternal student, because I always want to learn more. I also have two cats I adore.

I'm currently spending a lot of time teaching dance, watching dance and writing about dance! And I've just finished my MA in, guess what, dance!

That I have a huge smile! Recently a friend described me as 'very English, but very funny' which is rather apt as I am indeed English, and hilarious.

Books - too many to say, but one of my cats is named after the author of Sense and Sensibility
