Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
passionate non-materialistic polymath and researcher seeks woman

OKCupid seems to think that I'm a certain percentage "enemy" to
most people here. I don't agree! I don't feel like an enemy to any
woman here, even when I disagree with her on this or that--even
when she would probably hate me for my unusual views and
I wish everyone here wisdom and luck in this difficult and
confusing search to find agreeable company--and in trying to decide
on which of the marvelous people here to focus.
I reread this later and realized that for some women--who for
example answered they would dump their boyfriend for a billionaire
they aren't even attracted to--the best I can do is wish them luck
by wishing they'd change their values!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.

I'm a learning-junkie. You too?
Further explanation: I am constantly aware of my mediocrity, and
fighting to push it back. Languages, Science & Mathematics,
Literature, Drama. And I am trying to have some worthwhile original
things to say which might enrich others' lives. But so far most of
what I have discovered that is genuinely new is of only slight
interest. But I am not done yet by a long shot!
If you too feel dissatisfied with yourself and want to go farther,
and want to self-actualize to see what you can come up with that is
genuinely original, you are *my* kind of person!
Sadly, most people misunderstand me: they think I merely want to
learn this or that to accomplish this or that task or to get a job.
They don't understand the passions to learn and to create as a way
of life. If you do undertand this and have the same way of life
(pursuing passionate interests), I probably at least want to say
hello to you!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
*Making my own choices independently of the crowd.
*Knowing that I don't know.
*Knowing that others whose ways of looking at the world I've long
passed may still as human beings be worthy of respect.
*Member of Mensa and the Triple Nine Society. So I seem to do well
at highly g-loaded tests, especially when untimed.

Bipedal primate, opposable thumbs. More rational than most other
mammals, but unable to adequately analyse the complex web of
causation in this world. Loves to laugh. Glows when kissed
passionately. This latter quality is very handy when you have to
get up in the night to get something from the refrigerator and
can't find the light switch.
