My Self-Summary

We are all here for the same reason, to meet a special someone. I am not a fan of this online dating but, I am less a fan of the bar scene. So, here I am. If this doesn’t work out, I will probably have some good material for a comedy skit! :-)

Who am I? Single mom with two teenage daughters and one dog. My girls are smart, accomplished and self confident young women. I also have a busy career that is not a 9 to 5 job. Now that the kids are older, I am rediscovering old hobbies and looking for some new ones.

What I’m doing with my life

I am a single mom who spends time with her teenagers. I am also self employed and work on my business. I want to be able to provide what my kids need and occasionally spoil them with a little indulgence. I love to read motivational and inspirational material and keep trying to better myself. I also volunteer time at my church.

I’m really good at

This is a hard question to answer as I am not one to brag about themselves. I am a good friend and love to spend time in conversation and laughing with my friends. I like to cook when there is someone who will eat with me. (I have a picky eater in this house.) I like to do things that require creativity.

The first things people usually notice about me

My smile and sense of humor. I try to find the good in most situations and don't dwell on the bad things that happen. I try not to take myself too seriously.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: I read more books that are relevant to my business. I usually save the great fiction novel for my vacation reading material.

Movies: I like drama, mystery and comedy movies the most and least would probably be science fiction.

Music: I love music and will listen to just about anything.

Food: I like to try new foods and recipes.
