My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My Name is Samantha. I like to think I'm an easy-going person. I can be opinionated and very independent at times, but I do enjoy being lazy and playing video games or watching movies.
My main focus is school and family. I'm going on to my Master's next Fall and my family means everything to me, even if we don't agree 100% of the time. I absolutely LOVE animals and I love being around them, my family has 2 dogs and I have a guinea pig and a 6 month old kitten and I love them all!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a bachelor's degree in Childcare Administration from Cal State Northridge(May). Next Fall I'm enrolled in the Master's program of Family Studies at the same university. I hope to be a preschool teacher or a lead teacher at a day care center. My excitement for being around kids is growing with every semester I spend working with them.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Building computers. end of story.
Scrap-booking; I love documenting my life and making it fun and entertaining for people to look through.
Harry Potter/Disney Trivia; I LOVE the harry potter series.
The first things people usually notice about me

I'm a female tech. Yes, I am a girl who likes to and knows how to build a computer. This really needs to stop being a shocker.
my smile and my positivity, I smile at everyone. I am a firm believer that a smile from a complete stranger can make you feel better inside and turn a terrible day into something completely different, and all it took was a smile. =D
I'm also a really positive person; I'm always smiling and laughing and I always try to be happy. Watch out when I'm not though! Haha.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Dragon Star series
Grimm Brothers fairy tales
Any book by Tami Hoag
Princess Diaries series- it may be extremely young and girly, but you gotta have one book series like that.
Harry Potter
Lord of the Rings, yes the books and not just the movies.
Great Gatsby; and so much more I branch out everywhere.

Movies: Disney movies are my favorite! But I'll give anything a watch, one time. Except horror movies, I can handle blood and gore but too much and I might as well be in another room cause I can't see the screen from under a blanket anyway. But to give you an idea:

Pearl Harbor
Princess Diaries
Hangover I/II
LOTR I/II/III (and the Hobbit was pretty epic!)
POTC 1/2/3/4
Jungle Book (both live action and disney verison)
Star Wars
Transporter 1/2/3
Jurassic Park 1/3 (two was shitty)
Save the Last Dance
I Love you, Man
Austin Powers
Jaws (any of them, I love all the Jaws movies and spinoffs)
Dr. Dolittle (with Eddie Murphy)

Music: Pop/Pop Rock mostly with everything else thrown in. I don't have a big selection of music and everyone I know thinks the music I listen to is cheesy.

Food: as picky as I am about my music is about as picky as I am about food. I don't eat beef; steak, hamburgers, sloppy joes, anything with beef in it I don't care for EXCEPT a California tradition of an In-n-Out burger and fries. I am a big fan of chicken and pasta and Italian food. A healthy eater, I am not.

I'm a TV buff.. kinda. haha. I have quite a few shows I watch ALL the time. I watch a lot of shows, so if you don't think I watch it, chances are I do but I'm only going to list my favorites:

Hart of Dixie
Emily Owens, M.D.
Beauty and the Beast
Last Resort
Big Bang Theory
Game of Thrones

Reruns of:
I Love Lucy
Stargate SG:1
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of my time thinking about other people. I go out of my way to help my friends and family.

Daydreaming. I look like a total idiot when I'm doing it. I'll have little scenes play out in my head and I'll bust out laughing because of it, looking totally crazy.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm inside playing MMOs, doing homework, and eating. The "doing homework" part maybe not so much..

ok, maybe that's more a goal then something I'm actually doing..
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm afraid of the dark. I know there is nothing there, but still.. it's creepy and my eyes "play tricks" on me and i think i see things that aren't there that I think it wants to hurt me. It also doesn't help that I suffer from a lot of nightmares and I believe in ghosts, so put two and two together and viola! I'm scared to death of the dark.
I slept with a nightlight till I was 13, and technically I still sleep with one, only now it's called an alarm clock with an LED light on all the time.
