My Self-Summary

Lived here all my life and really seen all kinds of changes to the landscape. As much as I love the Bay Area, I try to travel as much as I can. There are two big dogs in my life that literally drag me through every beautiful park and beach in the area. A great way to enjoy the outdoors. Got milk?

Whenever I get the chance, I take classes at the local college. Other things I enjoy are movies, karaoke, dancing, and playing strategy-type games.

What I’m doing with my life

On the career front, working and taking classes to stay ahead of the game.

On the personal front, making sure that I strive for work-life balance. It is nice to smell the roses before the dogs trample them into the ground. When I can, I plan a trip to somewhere new, something international.

Working on my next bucket list of what to do with the second half of my life.

I’m really good at

Lots of things... I usually make people feel comfortable and enjoy being in my company. I am the great party planner. People love my lasagne, fish tacos, lime and cilantro salmon, and desserts to die for...

The first things people usually notice about me

My smile and laugh... I seem to find humor in something wherever I go. I try not to make the joke where I am the star performer though. Sometimes it just happens.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: The Four Agreements, anything by Grisham & Clarance, craft books, cookbooks and an occasional romance novel.

Movies: Mostly romantic comedies, such as: Must love dogs, Something has got to give, Failure to launch, etc. Anything with a lot of action like the Fast and the Furious series or James Bond classics.

Music: Almost all... I am not into Country Western... very little exposure. Favorites at the moment: Cake, Death Cab for Cutie, My Chemical Romance, and White Stripes/Racontours/Dead Thoughts.

Food: I try to stay open-minded about most everything.

I love the color and shine of silver/stainless steel. House paint, cars, bracelets, clothes, ets.
