I grew up in Maryland. I've spent time in France, Italy, and Alabama. I love traveling. I 'd like to go to Argentina, or Russia, or both.
I make bad first impressions. I love words and sentences and reading and all that. I talk too much.
I like bringing people food. I like meeting new people. I like declarative sentences.
I think it's important to be open-minded.

I work for a cybersecurity and IT contractor in Bethesda. I do some technical writing, some copy-editing, and a little graphic design. I graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in broadcast journalism and a degree in French. I'd like to go back to France and teach English, as soon as possible.

Books: I'll read just about anything, honestly. Right now I'm on a Fitzgerald binge, but I've recently been through a Latin American phase. Before that it was Russian. I also love all the old girly lit, Austen and the Bronte sisters. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I also have a secret stash of trashy romance novels. I prefer works of fiction to have happy endings.

Movies: Generally I like action movies and thrillers. Not big into science fiction. I am a girl, so of course I like the occasional romantic comedy, too. I also love film noir.

Shows: 30 Rock. The Office. SVU.

Music: I like it all. Except instrumental jazz and really angry rap.

Food: I don't eat meat. I'm not vegan.
