I am witty, sarcastic, and a tad geeky.

My Self-Summary

You know it's cliche to say that "I hate writing about myself" but truth be told, you never made a big ticket purchase without talking about yourself. The sales guy/girl asked you what you were hoping to accomplish with a new car etc etc etc, next thing you know you made a friend because he/she asked about you. And you talked. About yourself.

So, a few things about myself.

-Motivated to succeed, destined to win.
-I might not be the smartest or hottest guy you ever meet, but I'll work my ass off to take care of my family.
-I work in IT and I love my career choice.
-I'm going to open a cafe or restaurant if it's the last thing I ever do.
-I would drop everything to move to Boulder, CO right now.
-I'm a late bloomer, but I'm laid back and I'm not full of myself.
-I can't stand people who only look at someone with a college degree, a 6 figure income and an 8 pack. Those guys are douchebags and if you think that's the end all be all then you deserve the miserable life he's going to leave you and your kids with.
-I love Jesus but I drink a little.

What I’m doing with my life

Currently getting educated so I can have a tag my resume with some sort of educational affirmation that I took the time to try to learn about what it is that IT is.

I’m really good at

...what am I not good at?

The first things people usually notice about me

That I fit that geek stereotype with my shaggy hair, dark glasses, plaid shirt, blue jeans and chuck taylors. And I have become a fan of Battlestar Galactica (the original). As an aside, if you DON'T like Battlestar Galactica, never fear, I won't watch it with you.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Not a big non-fiction reader. I did read Cicero and Aristotle in college, they were good. Aristotle especially had some good ideas about rhetoric and its place in this world.

Not a big movie fan, but I like comedy, action, thrillers, and some drama.

Music...um, who do I NOT like? I like indie music, but I don't understand why the "in" thing is to be a purveyor of "indie" music.
Country:
-Alan Jackson
-Billy Currington
-Brad Paisley
-Carrie Underwood
-Dierks Bentley
-Garth Brooks
-George Strait
-Keith Urban
-Luke Bryan

Alternative:
-Coldplay
-Radiohead
-Keane
-The Fray

Rock:
-AC/Dc
-almost all bands from 1997-2002
-Buckcherry
-Chevelle
-Stonesour
-etc etc etc

Random:
-BB King
-Beatles
-Eric Clapton
-Frank Sinatra
-Jeremy Camp
-John Mayer
-Kutless
-Nat King Cole
-Skillet
-so much more.

Food. Let's go with cultures here and not specific foods. I like Southwestern, Mexican, some Asian, French and German cuisine is amazing if not high in cholesterol. I'm really a big fan of most type of steak. However, given the amount of crap they put in normal beef, I've decided to stop eating red meat for the rest of the year to see how it affects my health.

The six things I could never do without

1. Bubble wrap
2. Computers
3. Inspiration
4. Networks
5. TV
6. Women, without women life would not exist.

I could live without this list though. And if I never eat British pub food again, I'll be ok with that too.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

-Binary
-How life is one big hypocritical epiphany.
-Why I wasn't gifted in Math yet have always had the desire to be a network engineer.

On a typical Friday night I am

Trying to convince myself not to go get a 6 pack of imported beer. Those mix packs from Howell Mill Kroger are the best!

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I tried to flush my foot down the toilet when I was 3.

There is one other thing I'm willing to admit, but you have to ask me about that one. It's kinda personal.

You should message me if

-Blue Moon is in your top 5 draft list.
-You just wanna chit chat about stupid nothingness. I'm very good at that.
-You're a girl. This is a must, lots of men have been looking at my profile and while I have nothing against you being gay, I'm not digging the johnson.
-Your rich dad is looking for an IT guy. ;)
-You want to laugh.
