I'm a guy setting up the next phase of my life. After surviving a combat tour and losing my wife, I have learned the hard way that life is short. I'm comfortable in my skin, and I get up every day, put on my pants like everybody else, and get through each day by putting one foot in front of the other. I'm not necessarily looking for my next wife, but if the right lady happens to step forward I won't rule it out. At this point in time though, I'm really just curious to meet some folks, have some chuckles, and go from there...

I am currently pursuing a second bachelor's degree in music education. The plan is to then use it to start another career as a high school orchestra teacher.

I don't really get to see myself from the outside, but I suspect that most folks first notice my near complete lack of a "don't say that" filter...lol

Pretty much reading textbooks right now...

My all-time favorite movie is Casablanca--not sure I would have the cojones to walk away like Rick did...lol...other favorite flicks include MASH, Gone with the Wind, the first Star Wars trilogy, the Harry Potter series, and Shrek

Favorite shows include Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men (post-Charlie starting to grow on me), Barney Miller, MASH, Soap

I'm a classically-trained musician, so naturally I gravitate towards so-called "classical" music. However, my iPod also has AC/DC, George Strait, Frank Sinatra, Prince, and Chuck Mangione, among many others...

I'll eat just about anything that's put in front of me...lol But when I want to dine, I prefer Italian, Mexican, and good old American steak :D
