My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a Connecticut transplant trying to stave off a Boston accent while trying to convince tourists that yes, I DO know how to get to Mike's Pastry from here. When I'm not lying to tourists (kidding!) or working I'm out enjoying the scenery. I've been here for almost a decade and there is still so much to see and do. That said, most of these things are infinitely more fun with a companion. That's where you come in!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at a marketing agency in downtown Boston. So far, so good!

On the "play hard" side of the coin, I love watching sports (football, baseball and hockey, but I can still enjoy a soccer or basketball game). I also love Boston's dining and libation scene. While I have my favorite watering holes, I'm always looking to try some place new.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
How do I answer this? I'm not half-bad at grammar, but that's not super exciting. Ballroom dancing? Every now and then I can deliver a pretty zippy one-liner, too.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I hear I have a nice smile! If we meet up, it's going to be the first thing I ask you (once we get past that semi-awkward "Hi, are you who I think you are?" exchange).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Sedaris, Shakespeare, A Song of Ice and Fire. Looking for new suggestions!

Movies: Anchorman, Princess Bride, Iron Man, most Pixar

TV: South Park

Food: I'm a carnivore. I love steak. I was ridiculously excited to try kangaroo (it was tasty). Bacon cheeseburgers are go-to comfort food. Speaking of cheeseburgers, cheese! I love cheese. I'm also a sucker for trying new beers (they go so well with bacon cheeseburgers).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- My family
- Coffee
- Delicious beer
- Puppies
- Sense of humor
- A nice waltz
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where I had my phone last. The Oxford comma. What I'm going to write in these boxes. What kind of dogs I'll eventually have.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drinks with friends/colleagues. I know, not very unconventional!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a perhaps uncommon affinity for shortcut keys. Ctrl+K changed my [work] life. Also, I'm a proud New York Giants fan (so maybe not a private thing).
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
- You found any of this amusing.
- If you have a love for Belgian, Trappist, and other delightful beers.
- If you have an extra ticket to the Sox or Bruins.
- If you have a puppy (all dogs constitute "puppy" status in my book).
- If you'd want to hit a beer festival. Or Wine Riot.
