I am happy, geeky, and literary.

My Self-Summary

I am an English major at Carleton, currently, with dreams of becoming an English teacher some day (what else is there to do with a degree in English anyways?), maybe teaching in a different country and writing on the side.

I've been told I'm very quiet and shy... I keep to myself somewhat. I like to read, play video games, listen to music, pretty basic stuff.

What I’m doing with my life

School and more school. Like I said, I hope to teach English in a foreign country once I'm finished, I also write poetry occasionally, don't ask to see any of it though because it's all awful, haha.

I also work part time at a Second Cup.

I’m really good at

Analyzing literature? I'm told I make a mean chocolate chip cookie.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Considering books are my entire life, the list is far too long for this small box. Some authors on my bookshelf right now : Joseph Conrad, Victor Hugo, Balzac, Douglas Adams, Vonnegut, Philip K. Dick, Charles Dickens, H.P. Lovecraft, among many others. I have about 200 books on my shelf and more in boxes.

Not really that into movies, actually, I do like the classics though. Similarly, I'm not really into any specific music. I usually just listen to whatever's on the radio at the time; anything that sounds good is fine by me.

I'm pretty picky about what I eat... I love Indian though, especially curries.

The six things I could never do without

1. Books.
2. A good friend.
3. The internet.
4. Honestly I can't really think of anything else.
5. Have I mentioned books?
6. Yeah, I got nothing.
