My self-summary
How one of my best friends described me in 5 words:
Kind, fun loving, good energy, tall, funny

How would I describe me:
Equal parts athletic, dorky, adventurous (while secretly partially introverted, but you could never tell), optimist, nerd

How a movie quote would describe me:
I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal. People know me. I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

I'd like to find someone outside my circle to to enjoy going out and staying in with, a confidant, adventurer, good buddy and partner. The best relationships I've been in have had great friendships so I put a lot of stock in personality. It'a not what you're doing but who you're with, right? Though I like to find fun things to do! Who doesn't?

I really sharing my passions as well as learning from others as well. Huge bonus if you are active and embrace an adventurous personality while enjoying the simple pleasures in life.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in strategic partnerships for a mobile games publisher. I've always been fascinated by gaming and I really enjoy my job. It's new and there's something new to do everyday! Right now I'm very focused on my career.

During the week I split my nights between soccer games, the gym, or having drinks with friends in the city. Weekends are all about a fun adventure and a relaxing night. My idea of a good date would be hiking Mount Tam, grabbing tacos "Nick's Way" at Underdogs, then debating over a Netflix movie at home :-)

I also enjoy playing sports but especially soccer (SPOILER ALERT) though at this point you may have figured that one out?
I’m really good at
Cracking my friends up
Best man speeches
Quoting movies and TV shows
Rapping at karaoke
Cooking new dishes
Pushing myself to continue expanding my horizons

Soccer... Duh!
The first things people usually notice about me
I love to smile and laugh. An eternal optimist who's always sees the positive sign of things. Genuine. My height.

I recently was introduced to a random woman at the airport waiting to go to a bachelorette party who proclaimed, "You look like an exotic mix!" So... that's something? Plus after I told my friend the story, she now calls me Exotic One... so thats something else too!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Food - Raw oysters at Waterbar happy hour, saba sashimi at Sushi Rock, Tuna Ahi burger at Gotts Roadside and baked kale in olive oil and garlic at home, all time favorites.

For dessert, it's a 3-way tie between my pumpkin spice cupcakes, lemon bars and mini-fruit tarts. Working on being a better home bartender, can make a mean lemon drop martini.

Books - Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, The Gun Seller, Long Walk to Freedom, Eat Play F@*K.

Shows - Archer, Parks and Recreation, The Office, Mad Men, Arrested Development, 24, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Daily Show, Colbert Report, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Portlandia.

Movies - Into the Wild, Stepbrothers, The Departed, Waking Ned Devine, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Almost Famous, Gladiator, The Shawshank Redemption, 500 Days of Summer, Super Troopers.

(Huge bonus points if you've seen The Room and love it for the train wreck it is)

Sports - Huge fan of Arsenal Football Club (North London), San Francisco Giants, Golden State Warriors, San Francisco 49ers.
The six things I could never do without
Family - Loved ones alongside my close friends. Family is forever

Cooking - My favorite hobby besides sports

Accents - I like doing impressions, most of them are pretty bad, but there's no topping my Sean Connery ;-)

Travel - I don't think anyone gets to travel as much as they'd like but seeing the world is an amazing privilege, I try to do it as often as possible

Camera - I love documenting my life with my friends and family

Sports - Playing sports, going to games, and watching in that order, with playing sports 100 times more important than the latter two combined. I play soccer a few times a week and play basketball (pickup), softball (subbing) and volleyball (trivia nights in Mountain View) whenever I can.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
