What I’m doing with my life

i plan on leaving the country in early spring. in the mean time i'm trying to enjoy as much of la as is humanly possible.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

books - sci-fi and magic realism (think dune, alice in wonderland, the house of the spirits, etc.)

movies – foreign and dark comedies (almodovar, bunuel, kubrick, allen, coen brothers, tarantino, waters etc.). oh, and zombie movies, seriously.

music – a lot. roxy music and rudimentary peni are filed next to each other in my collection. i’ve been listening to cat stevens and the beatles since the womb. david bowie, all things scandinavian and bands with animal names. i’m currently really into the indie music scene, i grew up on punk rock and i love to listen to the velvet underground, sonic youth and serge gainsbourg on vinyl. i *love* seeing live music. i usually go to at least one event a week.

food – pho, mexican and brunch
