Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Easy going, love to read, INFJ according to Meyer-Briggs
Personality Assessment , for what that is worth. Fond of dancing,
and will be taking WC Swing. Certificate in Hypnotherapy, BA in
philosophy, some work towards M.Ed. I am fond of Business
Networking and real estate investment. I also do Tai Chi and yoga.
Good for me.
Handy around the house (light electrical, carpentry and plumbing).
I have to be, for the apt. building I own.
I like to cook. Philosophy degree and $5 gets you a good Starbucks
coffee but I prefer Dunkin' Donuts.
Anything else you may be curious about? just ask me. I'd love to
write the great American novel someday soon. Eclectic interests,
such as eastern philosophy, chess, shamanism, Jungian psychology,
history of private lives, Early Rome, Spirituality, astrology and
more. PS early retirement so am hopefully making the best use of
time. Tai Chi is very very good for me. :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At this time, for the most part, I am working on self improvement,
of the body and mind. Before I can be good for someone special, I
have to be good for myself (and to myself). But I'm about 92%
I am in a somewhat enviable position. I live off passive income and
have taken early retirement, so no need to work 9-5. Free unlimited
flight miles means the world is my oyster. I'm looking for that
pearl. I am not tied to the area and can relocate and plan to do
so, but not now as no wish to make a sideways move. :) Always nice
to see new places and meet kindred souls. I have a website that is
'new age' in astrology. I am an ordained minister online so I can
perform wedding ceremonies for family and friends. I am writing a

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening and some other things I won't go into here. OH and a
facility for languages, such as French, Spanish, Italian, some
Russian and Polish, and some German. Not that I can speak all these
but can read and understand enough to get by, usually. Body
language is the best, but not always easy to read. Sometimes I
struggle with English. Txtspk duz nt alwys work 4 me,y'know?
The first things people usually notice about me

Eyes. They are the windows to the soul, after all. And my sisters
say I look much better than my pics, but hey...what can you expect
in the mirror with a cheap cellphone camera. What you see is what
you get :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Don't watch much TV, prefer NPR. Enjoy fiction that is involved,
like J. Grisham, Tom Clancy, and others. Favorite book is the I
Ching, the Richard Wilhelm Edition.
Favorite music includes Black Keys, early Beatles, Cream, Diana
Krull, Fat Boy Slim, Benny Goodman,Gershwin, 50's Motown, Tears for
Fears, Peter Gabriel, INXS, Sade and others. Not so much into rap
or free form jazz. Love da blues and some country music is funny.
Music, movies, shows, food and books do not determine
Favorite foods include Chinese done wok style, with plenty of
veggies. Also Thai, but I'm not one for tofu.
I like the old Classic "Death takes a Holiday", B & W. It was
remade as "Meet Joe Black" with Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins.
Another favorite is "Heaven can Wait", the 1943 version. The
gentleman who played the angel in the later version (with Warren
Beatty, not Chris Rock) was the main character in the 1943 version,
namely James Mason, one of my favorites.
I'm sure there's more along the lines of shows, venues, etc. but
nothing comes to mind right now. But who can forget "It's a
Wonderful Life"? Well our tastes and favorites can give us an
insight into one another, but certainly do not define us., nor are
keys to a good relationship.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
oh I don't know....friends, family, food, water, oxygen, and
perhaps a copy of the I Ching Edition by Richard Wilhelm. Or if not
that book, a tool box may come in handy, loaded with tools. Hmm
they said "things" not people. How about love, integrity,
companionship, ....wait a minute...all you need is love. :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why OK cupid has modifiers for relationship type...Mostly or
strictly monogamous? Isn't that like being a little pregnant? Or
like just 'mostly' dead or partly unique? Either you are or you are
An idle mind is the devil's workshop, so they say. :)
Also, why is bra singular, but panties are plural?
Driveway is where you park, but parkway is where you drive?
Why do some you write to on here, never respond? :) not even to say
'not interested'. But they keep looking at your profile?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Taking it easy . :) That could mean movies, dinner out, attending a
concert, get-together, or otherwise just enjoying life. Or I will
read your palm :) At the very least I get to hold hands with a
pretty woman for about 1/2 hour.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You'll have to pry it out of me. Many private things. Ok I'll admit
I have a crush on Rachael Ray and think Betty White may be hot...at
least she'd be hysterical.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you'd like to learn more, do write. If the notion of a slightly
eccentric, metaphysical but practical man appeals to you, do write.
If you want someone who is empathetic, sincere and loving, do
write. And write if you are also caring, affectionate and giving.
I'm not so hung up on distance and could and would relocate, given
the right circumstances. Yes, I can support myself, and my income
follows me wherever I go. :) Mutual massage makes me mellow.
Mmmmmm. Alarming alliteration always amusing. Aaaaah.
