Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am the shy, creative, playful type. I offer an explanation for
each question I answer, so feel free to read up all you want on me
there. I'm no good at open ended essays like this, but I can talk
for days to prompts and questions.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just withdrew from an MS in Game Design at Full Sail, and am
currently applying to MBA programs in the bay area (I just got
accepted to UT today! 4/17) after which I would like to start some
kind of career in the video game industry, if at all possible by
starting my own development studio here in Tampa.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am something of a jack of all trades. Some things in particular
which I've found or been told that I'm proficient at include math,
writing (non-fiction only, apparently), painting, sculpture, piano,
bass guitar, and various sex acts.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have no idea at all what that would be. I guess my hair is my
single most outstanding attribute. I've heard some speak of my
laugh being interesting and/or distinctive. And people who I'm
closest to poke me then tell me I'm skinny and need to eat more, so
I guess that's what they notice most often?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

This is a pretty horrible amalgamation of questions, so I'll try to
touch very briefly on each. I've not been into reading lately but
when I do, I usually read science fiction, especially Larry Niven's
Known Universe diegesis (Ringworld, Protector, Fleet of Worlds,
etc.). I like all kinds of movies except sappy romances and weird
independent and foreign dramas. Favorite TV shows currently
include, but in no way are limited to, 30 Rock, SNL, Shameless,
Dexter, Weeds, Frozen Planet. Music... my Spotify profile is at
just go look at that;
Working Collection is my general playlist, but it's always in
progress and probably missing a few important artists. If you want
a synopsis: mostly alternative and different kinds of rock, but I'm
open to just about anything except country, including rap and
hip-hop (none of that mainstream garbage though), various
electronica (I went through house and trance phases), and whatever
else. Finally, food: is delicious! I am not the most adventurous
eater but I have a pretty wide and eclectic pallet. My most
favorite foods ever are derived from cows, though; especially the
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This is kind of a bullshit question since under the right
circumstances anybody can live without anything they don't
absolutely require to survive, but I'll play along for the sake of
the exercise. In no particular order:
Some kind of games. Video games, board games, card games, dice
games, words games, contact games, anything. I have a drive to
play, and I can only really calm down after a good bout of gaming
of some sort.
A musical instrument. Sometimes I just want to jam out. Bass guitar
A wonderful animal companion, preferably my wonderful moo-cat Lamp.
I love Lamp... I love Lamp! I love Lamp.
TV. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't just blank out to
some tube from time to time.
A lady companion. That's why I'm here, right? I love having someone
to care for who will care for me in turn.
The sweet, sweet Ganj. Soothes my mind, keeps me calm.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Make believe? I like to think about, without recording in any way,
two or three science fiction and fantasy stories of my own
imagining. This may sound a bit insane, but I pace around my
apartment imagining scenarios of such stories and muttering some of
the more interesting details as a walk.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Not really sure anymore. The past Friday nights I have tried going
out to clubs at Ybor, but the women there do not seem to be
interested in anything but STD's (South Tampa Douchebags). I might
go out to see a movie at Ybor or Channelside, I may just stay in, I
may decide to do something completely new, who knows.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There are some really juicy details in my explanations in the
questions section. Go dig for them.
