I like the scenic route... so much so that I once acquired (derisively) the nickname "Highway 49" on a College trip to California. I'm not the kind who is going to blitz through something without forethought, nor without appreciating what I am seeing along the way.

I'm mostly here for the tests... and the cool/interesting algorithm... and to occasionally rubberneck -- I did say I was into taking the scenic route, and this is *waaay* cheaper than gas right now *grin*.

I am sardonic, boisterous, and intellectual; oh, and also ENTP -- I'm just sayin'. :D

Keeping large websites running remotely. Sneaking in sushi meals whenever I can (which usually means when I'm not eating with the wife). Raising a 10-year-old. Brushing up on my gerrymandering skills.

Finding my way around places. Usually. The odd mistakes are notable and make for some good stories.

Also, impersonating Elvis, both on the legit stage and as world-class karaoke.

Umm, fire-hydrant-like build, Fred-Flintstone-esque doorstop-shaped feet, or maybe the dark, deep-set eyes?

Politics. Policy... particularly educational and tax policy. And a few other things that come along with being human... and male... and mostly healthy. :D

Either trying to recover from the trials of the past week (usually that means watching a movie at home while eating either pizza or Chinese), or attending a social event that *I* didn't schedule. Saturday nights, on the other hand, are more undisciplined and action-filled. ;)

I once was involved in a messy incident in the produce department of a Kroger.
