I am spiritual, soulful, and sensitive.
My Self-Summary
Hey everyone, I am new to this site. Hmmm, how to pique your
interest in just a couple of paragraphs...challenging. Well, let's
see, first of all, I love people. My group of friends is very
diverse. They have taught me alot about compassion and acceptance
and have enriched my life tremendously. I am a very spiritual
person but not, at all, into organized religion. I believe that we
are all connected to each other so treating everyone with
unconditional love and respect is a must. I have been accused of
being a good listener, a loyal friend, laid-back, funny,
hard-headed, soft-hearted, down-to-earth, playful, creative, a good
kisser, a terrible liar ( as in not being good at lying), and
eternally youthful.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I am just doing whatever is put in front of me. I do a
little artwork, a little remodeling, a little writing. The
remodeling pays the bills; the artwork and writing feed the soul.
I’m really good at
Listening, creating, playing, laughing, being a friend.....
The first things people usually notice about me
That I look like I'm in my 30's, that I have an infectious smile,
and that I have a few tattoos.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I read alot of non-fiction; mostly political or spiritual stuff. My
favorite authors are; Mark Canfield, Marianne Williamson, Joe
Vitale, Depak Chopra, Elizabeth Lesser, Caroline Myss, Wayne Dyer,
Molly Ivins, Noam Chompsky, Sark, Patricia Cornwell, Stephen
King.
Some of my favorite movies are; The World According to Garp, Harold
and Maude, Benny and Joon, The Godfather movies, When Harry Met
Sally ( did I really admit that?), anything with Jim Carrey, Tommy
Lee Jones, Tom Hanks, Robert DeNiro, Meryl Streep
I really like all types of music, but I guess my favorite is
rock/pop.
My favorite foods are Indian, Greek, Mexican and Chinese
The six things I could never do without
1. Spirituality
2. Friends
3. Love
4. Culture
5. Ethnic foods
6. Acceptance
I spend a lot of time thinking about
People, unconditional love, random acts of kindness, my friends, my
animals, trying to find beauty all around me, trying to stay in the
moment.
On a typical Friday night I am
At home with a good movie or book, or out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
We can discover that together......it's more fun that way!!!!!
You should message me if
You aren't afraid to live outside the box, you can laugh, love and
play with abandon, you appreciate the blessing in everyday things
(friends, family, nature, music, preparing a meal), you are
open-minded, loving and gentle.
