Well, I'm rewriting my summary once again. I find myself wishing I could express my personality and my intricacies without writing a novel.

As of February, 2013, I am officially employed full time as a vet tech at an equine hospital just south of Salinas on Hwy 68. This includes being an on-call emergency surgery tech once a week, and one weekend a month. To be honest, I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm in the process of deciding if getting a Masters degree is in the cards right now, or if I should wait a bit and let myself save up some money.

I very much enjoy the outdoors, although my work schedule is a bit funky so I don't have much opportunity to get out and about. I have been called a "country" girl, but I absolutely love having the opportunity to get dressed up for formal occasions as well. It's definitely not always jeans and t-shirts.

I am enthusiastic, genuine, and motivated.

Working full-time and sorting out possibilities for continuing education.

Making people feel better about themselves and looking on the bright side of things. I've also heard that I'm quite good at giving back massages.

I get a lot of comments about my eyes, but if there is something else you've noticed, please let me know!

Books: Quite a bit of fantasy, but I can generally immerse myself in any book that is put in front of me. Dickens, Vonnegut, Hemingway, Tolkien, and Twain are all favorites.
Movies: I can generally find some enjoyment out of any genre, except for horror. Favorites include Serenity, True Grit, and Good Will Hunting.
TV: I don't have TV anymore, and don't really miss it. The only shows I follow are Castle, and The Walking Dead (although I am terribly behind)
Music: I enjoy most genres.
Food: Irish, Mexican, Italian and Japanese

Squeezing in some cleaning time around the apartment or potentially out playing a little pool with my roommate.

I adore soft things against my skin. Clean sheets, fluffy blankets, and luxurious fabrics are all just so wonderful.
