My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well, there are a lot of things to know about me. My name is Nick and I am told that I'm a pretty charismatic person. I have a lot of interests and I am a pretty big bucket of useless knowledge, mostly revolving around the culinary world. I graduated culinary school with degrees in both savory cooking and baking and pastry artistry (With honors of course). I currently work for Starbucks full time and I have been a barista for a pretty large chunk of my life. I think that it's definitely helped to shape me into the individual that I am today. Outside of cooking and making a mean cup of coffee, I also wrap myself up in the music world. I play strings including bass, guitar, and violin (Although I'm a novice here, so it'll be some time before I'm actually any good at it.), and hope to eventually learn the piano and maybe cello for good measure. I love researching things that peak my interest whimsically. If I'm watching something on television or reading something randomly and it should so peak my interest, I will find out everything I can about it. I am an information sponge! I have a pretty logical approach to situations and am a realist, but that never inhibits me from trying (It just means I wear a helmet before I fall.). That's really the bulk of me, just highly, highly condensed.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now it is all about work for me! I'm trying to establish myself more in the realms of what I went to school for, so my primary focus currently is about getting more involved with the food and beverage industry.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm good at the obvious: cooking, making coffee, and playing my instruments. But that's not really any fun, pointing out the obvious. My real prized talents include, but are not limited to: drunk cake decorating (And actually doing it well. It's become a favorite pass time.), costuming, bedazzling and blingifying any and everything, and bartending! :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes, without any doubt.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Anything to do with cooking and the culinary world altogether. I really enjoy learning new and exciting things about my favorite subject! I also really enjoy "how to" materials, because I love figuring out how to do things that I didn't know how to do before. As far as named books go, I really like 1984, the Harry Potter series, and Night.

Movies: I LOVE horror movies, especially werewolf and serial killer movies. My favorites, include Halloween, Silver Bullet, and Silence of the Lambs.

Shows: I love things to do with fantasy and the supernatural, as well as dramas and cartoons. My favorites include: Dead Like Me, Futurama, Supernatural, Law and Order: SVU, and South Park.

Music: Ok, so here's where I find a lot of people saying "Everything!". I call b.s. on that. I do enjoy a broad range of music, but I certainly dislike a lot of music as well. My favorite genres include: classical, rock, metal, and alternative. I tend to lean towards music that is prominent with aggressive strings. Some of my favorite artists are: Emilie Autumn (10 points if you even know who she is.), Korn, Evanescence, Poe, and Christina Aguilera.

Food: Now, this section tends to be where people think I'm picky, because of my background. In truth, I'm not very picky with food at all. My favorite cuisines include Mediterranean (Specifically Italian and Greek) and Asian (Specifically Thai). I also love GOOD cake! I am a sucker for desserts, and one of my all time favorites is tiramisu.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends, family, food/water, music, sleep, and showers as well as anything involving hygiene (If I had to live smelly and gross, I’d much rather die.).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Any and everything. I tend to be very analytical, so I'm usually fairly focused on whatever happens to be relevant to my day to day life at any given moment. Although, admittedly, I do spend entirely too much time thinking about my disdain towards the desert.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Friday nights are really no different than the rest of the week, which is a lovely accommodation that a retail work schedule has provided me with. So, assuming I have no early obligations Saturday morning, I could be doing anything from working out, to cooking, to hanging out with my friends. My day to day life is very chaotic, so there's a lot of whimsy in what I tend to be doing on any given night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Those socks and shoes with individual compartments for each toe freak me the fuck out on a completely irrational level.
