After meandering around Australasia for my formative years, I'm settled within a stumble of KingsX and a canal-side bike commute of work while I attempt to save a house deposit - definitely fallen in love with London and no plans to leave.

I think I have a pretty ideal work-to-live existence; I am the Richmond Avenal of a large bank (minus the eyeliner, plus knowing what all of the flashing lights mean) and then I get to spend my evenings and weekends charging around meeting up with people to do exciting things - the downside is that my lifeadmin starts to get backed up and I suddenly have no clean socks.

Every so often one of my friends comes up with a ridiculous idea like getting our PADI in mid-winter at Heathrow, or flying to Canada for an internet friend's wedding and snowboarding. Recently did a banger rally to Milan for Centrepoint, currently preparing for the London to Brighton with some colleagues for GOSH - I'm going to see if I can do it on my Brompton.

I am both more and less serious than this might imply.

My favourite authors come from mostly SciFi and Fantasy, like Gaiman, Pratchett and Iain Banks, but I also read a lot of randomly interesting stuff like Richard Feynman's autobiography and occasionally blast through some overhyped novel just to dissect for funsies. Let's just say my bookshelves are literally overflowing and I wish I had room for more.

I don't watch a lot of actual tv when I can just borrow the interesting series off of friends.
I saw Avatar twice, which is more times than I've seen A Clockwork Orange and less than I've seen Wall-E or quoted through Rocky Horror. None of which compares to dressing up for Empire Records at the Prince Charles Cinema- OH REXY! You're SO Sexy! I would like to meet someone whose definition of 'classic films' include Casablanca and The 5th Element.

Like many people, I still think the music that was popular when I finished highschool is the pinnacle of the art. I've been seeing a lot of live bands featuring accordion/banjo/trumpet for some reason - The Great Malarkey, Katzenjammer, Molotov Jukebox. DubFx and Kimbra are amazing, and Garfunkel & Oates are hilarious (try 29/31 on youtube).
I guess I cover a lot of genres depending on my mood (like most people). I used to play guitar but it's fallen by the wayside.

I love taking people to restaurants they haven't tried yet - would you believe there's a great Mezze in Oxford Circus? Or that Brazilian BBQ makes the best xmas party dinner?
I make my own Thai green curry from scratch - this is fun, I suggest you try it. I also make Banoffee, once with Mangoes - Manoffee? I'll also cycle 20mins to pick up Peanut Butter Gelato.
