My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Before you read any further, understand:
I'm in an open relationship with my partner Chris_Revocateur who I love lots. We're communicative and all that good stuff.

Other super awesome tidbits...

Some stuff I like:
Exploring cities and wilderness
Reading and sewing
Climbing trees using intricate rigging systems
Dancing (types that involve hitting people and also types that don't)
Going to shows
Untangling things
Playing rough with my friends
Playing in the dirt, woods and water
Doing interesting physical things which push my body to the limit, then just a tiny bit more
Sitting around tables with friends playing games
Collecting bones and feathers and dead things
Permanent bodily adornments
Black things
Watching movies all cuddled up in blankies
Other, weirder shit

Anarcho-activism is really important to me. I've done a ton of forest defense, cook Food Not Bombs, and other things I'll talk more about in person.

Depending on how I feel at any moment you might find me with all or none of the hair society has deemed unacceptable for women to grow. Fuck patriarchy.

Dark sarcasm is my preferred flavor of humor.

I'm an introvert and an affection slut, with misanthropic tendencies.

I rarely smoke pot. Really. I know this is Humboldt, and I have dreads..but...dreads don't equal stoner or hippy. I know. It's like, totally steryotype ruining, huh? I've also spent many years as a total stoner, and have no problem with pot or people who smoke it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to do a good job at living the human experience...
Meeting strangers and keeping up with friends.
Being compassionate without being trampled.
Continuing attempts to make good sauerkraut. Or at least something fermented and edible.
Remembering to floss.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-Getting dirty
-Untangling things and compiling them back together
-Starting fires and pooping in the woods.
-Not worrying much about politeness while still being sensitive to the feelings of the people I care about (I say what's on my mind and do what feels comfortable)
-Identifying poison oak
-Listening to my intuition (working on following it)
-Hand sewing (never learned how to use a machine)
-Using things other people throw away
The first things people usually notice about me

Hmm.. people say i have pretty eyes (blue) and interesting hair (a dreadhawk with raccoon stripes).

People also tell me that I've made the impression that I didn't like them at first. That's either because I didn't (my misanthropy goes beyond principal in many situations), or because I'm shy.
My reaction to this is to step up my identifiable aversion to people I really don't like as to make the differentiation easier. And, at the people I do, to bear my teeth with the corners of my mouth upturned. I hear that helps.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books...lately I've been into:
A Song of Ice and Fire!
The Ender's Game saga!

Anne Rice's Vampire series. Michael Pollan. Ed Abbey. PM Press. AK Press. Greenery Press. Creepy Susie. Sylvia Plath. Jay Wiseman. J.K. Rowling. George Orwell. Poppy Z. Brite. Books of macabre artwork. The Hunger Games Trilogy. Books about crazy people. Gotta check out some Phillip K Dick too, apparently.

Music...where do i start?
Rasputina. The Knife. Gillian Welch. Nine Inch Nails. Pat the Bunny's projects (Wingnut Dishwasher's Union, Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains, Ramshackle Glory) Bands involving Stza. Dead to a Dying World. Kimya Dawson. Ecocide. Bauhaus. The Moldy Peaches. MDC. Nirvana. Mississippi John Hurt. Mischief Brew. Washboards-banjos-folk-punk-industrial-music to scream with-music to sing with-music that invokes emotion and pulls at my core. Blackbird Raum. OCMS. Operation Ivy. Black Flag. Dave Rawlings Machine. Talking Heads. Fever Ray. Pigface. Slow Teeth. The Misfits. Skarp. Iggy Pop. Tool. June Carter. Johnny Cash. John Prine. Tin Tree Factory.
.....and bunches more.
Pretty much the only genres for which I have found no taste at all in any form are fusion jazz and trance/electronica/dubstep/that whole thing.

Holy fucking shit. I just saw "God Bless America" (Bobcat Goldthwait). It was so great. If you love Natural Born Killers, fucking watch this movie.
Other than that, horror, sci-fi, dark comedy, fantasy and drama mostly. Documentaries. TED talks.

I don't have TV (they suck and kill people slowly) but with the help of the internet I like getting into addictive TV shows (yay hypocrisy!) Lately I've been watching The Next Generation, The Big Bang Theory, Raising Hope, Lost, Firefly and The X-Files. Cartoons for big kids (and littles sometimes too). Televised Carl Sagan is of course a badass as well. Neil deGrass Tyson's doing a fine job himself.

Burritos are my comfort food. I love food that's way too spicy (like, burn my fucking taste buds off spicy) and/or has way too much garlic. I also especially like growing my own food, rescuing food from dumpsters, tapatio, mexican, and indian.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Something to believe in/fight for

Being outside...really ohmygawd-my-phone-doesn't-have-reception-here-and-ummmmm-where's-the-toilet? outside.

Being able to travel and connect with friends and others who
don't live in my corner of the world

Laughing at ridiculous shit

Exploring the outskirts of social normality

Some sort of creative/expressive outlet

Human touch (babies die from lack of that shit ya know)

I promise I can count
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
and various social interactions that come up. People are weird. It's fun to analyze social situations and motives in this clusterfuck culture.

When is the next day I have off of everything and what I'm going to do with it? School life is busy and I take that shit really seriously.

How to have lots of fun while being effective in building perpetuating this socially and environmentally just anarchist dream we're working toward.

Quitting my job, moving back into a backpack for a while and doing a bunch more traveling.

The incompatibility between real time and all the experiences and information I want to cram in my brain. On that note...where might one procure a time-turner around here?

And various other subjects, depending on the week.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Pretending (?) I'm a unicorn.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm an Anamorph. For reals. Sshhhhh.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you maybe wanna be friends, message me if:

-You want to get a beer and make a new friend.
-You want to compare notes on ways to fuck/fix shit up.
-You have some awesome skill or hobby you want to share, or are interested in learning something from me
......especially if you can teach me how to process roadkill/hunt without traps. I need to figure out how to provide my own animal products if I'm gonna continue consuming them.
-You proofread your messages. And spell out entire words (I know! So much more energy tacking on two extra letters around the letter "u"!)

Other qualities I'm attracted to:
People with baby animals (not in cages) and kitties (+100 cuteness points).
People who are awesome but don't necessarily know it. Seeing eyes light up during a forest/outdoor adventure. Intelligence. Empathy. Real ass motherfuckers. People who know lots about plants. A crazy streak. People who think before throwing something away/are comfortable digging through the trash. Open communication. People who get shit done. People who can hang with a little woo but aren't way off in the deep end themselves. Coffee addicts.

If you're interested in the possibility of something beyond a platonic friendship:
Everything above, plus...
-You're open to polyamory
-You're a kinky as fuck D-type
