Update: I just had a chat with a friend I've made on cupid, who said something that was right on. She said: "I say what I mean and I mean what I say . . . people who don't . . . confuse me greatly." Right
I am looking only - only - for people with there is a very high match between what they say about themselves and how they present themselves, and who they are and what they actually want. I love the feeling of being alive, as it feels on a brisk fall's day, skinny dipping, dancing all night, drummin, eating spicy ethnic food.

I like to play, and have a passion for being out in a natural setting and walking.Integrity is a frikkin' big deal to me. People often say it is for them - in practice, it seems that it's only true for so many. You?

My mind is open and there's no lack of life energy. I'm admittedly a seminar junkie - Communication seminars, The Forum, breathwork, movement, tantra - you name it. I make a point of saying this because, yes, I am on a personal growth path, and would probably best match up with someone who is too (in whatever ways).

I like to know a little about a lot of things - that makes me a good trivia teammate.

Long term friendships are important and I have a good number of them. My network is pretty large.

Along with teaching music, I make a living accompanying at private schools and performing regular gigs and concerts . I have released two solo Cd's. I just recorded my third , called WinterSong. It's similar in feel to George Winston recordings like Autumn and December. I'm doing a Cd Release Concert Feb 7th in Candler Park.

I love traveling, and have been to Europe several times. I'm drawn to expressive events like comedy improv and dancing - both watching and, much more to the point, doing. I was just in DC and saw the fantastic Washington Improv group doing an improvised musical. I interacted improvisationaly with one of the members afterwards and she said: I think we've got a new member. You can present me with someone I've just met, and I can make up a song about them. For real !

I have a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Library Science. Maybe I'll go back to graqd school someday - Academia is really attractive to me.

I am an intown Atlanta guy. I could also see myself living in Asheville NC, Portland, or Charlottesville Virginia, among other eclectic communities. I recently went with some friends to Nashville - also a winner. I have maybe a dozen cities in the US total I want to investigate...Walking and dancing, along with traveling are big passions. I've recently traveled to: DC, Brooklyn, Charlottesville, Saratoga Springs, Asheville, and Nashville.

You know who you are inside.
You're pretty clear what you want.
When it's No, you have no problem saying No.
When it's Yes, you say Yes.
You're comfortable in your own skin, and with asking for what you want.
You don't need to play communication games - you let people know what's up(you don't leave them hanging).

That sounds so basic, doesn't it! I'm comfortably all of that.

Also Good:

-you are open to life and new experiences
-you're drawn to reading and intellectual conversation
-you're politically liberal
-you're something like spiritual though not dogmatic (I'm fine with it if you affiliate with a given church or synagogue,etc.)
-you like to travel when possible
-you're potentially available for something more long term with the right person - that is, you have some time in your life, and you're over your last relationship enough to be truly available for someone(not everyone is)........

(A Note on the whole age thing - I have a wide range of people I connect with both as friends and potential dates.In the last week, for example , I've had really good chats with people ranging in age from mid twenties to late fifties.)

For the right kind of woman, I know I'm a great catch.
