My self-summary
I'm starting over with this and doing my best to keep it simple and straight-forward.

I'm an amazing guy. I'm not perfect but I have and continue to spend a lot of energy working on myself.

I contribute a large part of myself to others and the community. I believe this is my calling in life. I am artistic, creative, passionate and very connected to spiritual and emotional qualities (however, I'm not religious in anyway). My partner must share these values and be able to honor me as I honor them. When I meet the right guy, we'll be an unstoppable force.

I'm a deep, dark blue well of water... it can be intimidating. My match will know what this means and know how to make a home there. I am also very funny, in a dry and sarcastic sort of way.

I've dated a lot but been "single" for quite some time. I'm really serious about finding - not Mr. Perfect - but the right guy for me.

I dare you to write me! ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Originally from Idaho, I moved to Seattle in 2009 for grad school. I'm a talented musician, singer, and conductor. I work as an event/venue promoter.

I love music and the performing arts (especially jazz and classical).
I’m really good at
Cooking
Singing
Directing Choirs
Helping people be better
Dinner parties
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I've recently read, "A New Earth" by Ekhart Tolle, "Wicked," "The Audacity of Hope," and I'm beginning to read "Doubt: A History," regarding the spiritual implications of doubt. It makes some really fascinating conclusions about atheism and religion in general. I also really love anything written by David Sedaris.

My favorite movies include, "Life As a House," "The Notebook," "Steel Magnolias" (for the one liners), "Julie and Julia," and many more (I'm a sentimental freak)!

I love jazz and classical music. Bach is the master of all and Kurt Elling rocks my world (maybe rocks is the wrong verb).

I love really great Thai, Italian... gosh, anything with cheese in it is good!

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Spirituality. I feel a strong connection to the esoteric and the existential questions in life; funny thing for an agnostic.
