My self-summary
I am an artistic, intellectual person. I like reading books that range in topics from literature, to cosmology, and from pop-culture to social theory. I play guitar, write songs, and sing. I do computer art and hope to be able to paint again soon. I like punk rock, garage rock, primitive rock, bebop and cool jazz, classical, blues and alt-country. I am NOT A REPUBLICAN. I like National Parks. I think you should go get the Firefox Browser because it works better and monopolies are bad. My favorite trees or the Oak, the American Elm, and the Eastern White Pine which could grow to well over 200 feet before we cut all of them down. I suspect that they would grow much larger if they were found in areas like those that support the Sequoia because their cheif enemy other than us is the wind. I like soccer. Although I am not a sports jock type of guy, I do love the Red Socks, and route for the Celtics, T-Wolves and Patriots. I enjoy it when the Yankees and Lakers loose. Most people around here would think it strange that I equally route for the Packers and Vikings. Having said all of this, you might think that I am a huge sports fan. I don't think I am more so than I am a fan of art and music and interesting conversation about international issues.

I am molecular, synaptic, and rhythmic.
I’m really good at
I'm best at music, art creative thinking and intellectual things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm intense, in a very relaxed kind of way.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
a)Tom Sawyer, The Education of Henry Adams, the Dictionary, A Guide to New England Landscape, Brideshead Revisited, A Brief History of Time, my physical geography college text-book, The Bean Trees, An Unquiet Mind... this could go on and on and it is different everyday.

b) The Matrix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the overall series. I think that if there had been more of an explanation how computers work mixed into the framwork of the second and third movies that they would have been better received. Also I wish that the Merovingian and the train keeper guy was explained more. Citizen Kane, Cinema Paradiso, This is Spinal Tap, American Beauty, also Frontline and the Daily Show;though I don't have cable.

c) Uncle Tupelo, Husker Du, Bob Dylan, Neil Young Bethoven, Camper Van Beethoven, Mahler, John Coltrain, The Drive By Truckers, John Lee Hooker, REM, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Velvet Underground, Wilco, Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash, Dinasaur Jr, Yes, The Mars Volta, The Feelies, Pouges, Oasis. I will add more later.

d) Mexican, Chinese, Italian.
The six things I could never do without
Different kinds of matter that form my cat, intelligent people, a occasional vanilla frapuchino type driink, music, art, the sun and what grows from it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whatever comes to my mind. It is a sponge for geography, history, economic theory and data, global issues, policy issues, sports events and stats, music, women, art, creativity, how our country elected such an idiot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Archetypal, unlike Saturday night when I am atypical and Wednesday night when I am architechtural.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 32–86
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, casual sex
You should message me if
You are not sassy! You do not pronounce nuclear nucular. You are not materialistic. You love music. You love the outdoors. You love art. You are very very smart. You can keep up with a conversation that quickly changes directions. When I say smart I mean you love to learn and would find it hard to live without learning. You find synergies with me. You should care about the environment, be modestly interested in the global economic issues that influence it and our political and social structures. The ability to use Marxian analysis in your conversations would be cool. You have found a significant amount of Berkshire Hathaway stock and you think it is mine and want to give it to me. Having a great mind and great curves and the assertiveness to make the first move would be even better.
