My self-summary
Seattle is a brand new adventure!

I have no current interest in a relationship or hooking up at the moment. Turbulent times. I am, however, always happy to meet new people and make new friends!

I'm a tech-nerd with a lot of ambition. I want to live the fullest life possible and have a hell of a good ride doing it. I'm kind of a straight arrow in the way I go about things, but life is for living, so I keep an open mind and am not afraid to take some risks.

My younger years were spent in northern New York (the Adirondacks, which are stunningly beautiful). I majored in International Business and Marketing with a Japanese Language minor. Japanese is a great language and a fantastic challenge. I recommend it to anyone. That said, I've forgotten just about all of it.
What I’m doing with my life
Learning. I have my long-term goals, but on the way, I'm always trying to pick up new skills and knowledge to make the ride that much more enjoyable. My job has me traveling all over the country working on warehouse systems. It's fascinating, I promise. Doing something you enjoy is of paramount importance, and right now, I'm enjoying this. (yeah, I can fix your computer, too)
I’m really good at
Jack of all trades, master of some. I tend to pick up things pretty quickly, so if there's anything you have to teach me, I'm game!

As for skills, I juggle, walk on my hands, and tumble pretty well. Most sports come pretty easily to me. My greatest aptitude is for problem solving, as lame as that may sound.

I am NOT good at playing guitar (yet) or swimming.
The first things people usually notice about me
A middle-aged woman once stopped me in the aisle of a grocery and told me have have the most beautiful eyes. I'm pretty happy that my eyes are functional. This happens much more often than is comfortable. It's more fun to observe other folks.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
G. Love & Special Sauce happens to be a small obsession of mine. My tastes are varied. Blake Sheldon, Trace Atkins, Notorious B.I.G., Dave Matthews Band, Zee Avi, Frank Turner, Gin Wigmore, 2pac, Bach (J.S. and the rest). Even The Books have some pretty good stuff. Industrial electronica is really the only thing that will never find its way on my speakers.

As far as books go, I seek strong storytellers. Neil Gaiman, Orson Scott Card, Neal Stephenson, and more. I find that the best stories are in nonfiction, particularly in the realm of not-quite-reality. It feels great to delve into someone else's world.

In the world of television, nothing will beat the old Hannah-Barbara cartoons, but I only keep up with "fake news" (I don't expect to ever have cable or satellite TV ever again). Hulu is a beautiful thing.

I love to cook, and I love to try what others cook! There are few things I don't enjoy, but Indian food is two of them.
The six things I could never do without
Baseball - Texas Rangers fan who's never been to Texas
Language - I'd like to learn them all, but I already know English
Family - We're the closest bunch you'll ever meet
Passion - Without passion, you're just going through the motions
Music and the Arts - Including Storytelling
Freedom - To show love to all, without prejudice
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The philosophy of relationships. After reading The Celestine Prophesy, I gained a completely new perspective on what it means to interact with other people in any way.

I wonder what The Plan is and how My Plan fits into it.

I think about the future and how people who've been affected by me have changed because of what little (or great) amount of interaction we had.

What are my new goals in this new environment?

What should I make for dinner?
On a typical Friday night I am
The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world!

I'm usually crazy tired because I travel extensively for work. Happy to hit up something quiet, but the wild stuff is reserved for Saturday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have shed tears at exactly one movie. The Pursuit of Happyness. The title is not indicative of the joy to sorrow ratio in that film!
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 24–32
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
you, like me, are looking to explore and get the most out of this place called Life. OR if you have a thing or two you can teach me.

Let the adventure begin!
