I'm a friendly, bright, regular guy, and I've been curious about
almost everything all my life. I like to laugh and kid around, but
I know how to be serious, too, when there are things to discuss and
I've heard I have a romantic side. Could be. If I like a girl, I
want to smile when I see her, to look in her eyes, hear her voice,
give her all my attention. And if we start kissing, I don't want it
to stop--lips, cheeks, eyelids, hair, neck, shoulders . . .
After working a long time in store management for Trader Joe's, I
was lucky enough to be able to return to school in the mid-'90's.
In time, I graduated law school in St. Loui, came back to L.A., and
(God knows how) passed the Bar Exam.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a solo lawyer with a general practice.
I’m really good at
Driving; cooking; working on mechanical things; camping; public
speaking; gardening; chatting with bright women; art history;
crossword puzzles; kissing (so I've heard).
The first things people usually notice about me
I have people tell me they noticed my eyes, my smile, and a couple
times, my shoulders. I also hear that when I start talking, they
like that I'm friendly and usually have something interesting to
If they get to know me, they'll also notice that I get along with
most types of people and am comfortable in almost any
Some people even think I'm witty (seems to happen more when I've
been buying the drinks.)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm big on film noir and classic movies, but I like some newer
ones, too. I also like art museums, lectures, concerts, and fairs,
and I'd be open to plays, ballet, etc.
I read mysteries, histories, philosophy, science, novels--you name
it. Or sometimes I'd be happy sitting on the sofa holding hands and
I like most kinds of music, from reggae to classical to jazz to
I cook a lot of things pretty well, so I don't always eat out. When
I do, I can go high or low or in between, from really fine
restaurants to a hot dog off a cart, to HITW ethnic places. I like
lots of different cuisines.
The six things I could never do without
Good company, kissing, bright conversation, wine, good food,
nature, wit, and women who can act like kids and just have fun.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
All sorts of things--bombolone, Roy Orbison songs, Corvettes,
heirloom tomatoes, the smell of a campfire, driving through the
countryside with a girl I really like . . .
On a typical Friday night I am
nothing typical; could be out on the town, by myself, or with a
friend (maybe you?) or at home reading or watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not the world's greatest dancer. But I'm a quick study.
You should message me if
you're a bright, interesting girl who likes to see and do all sorts
of things--but would like to see and do some of them with a guy who
will make them into great memories.
